Hey, my dad has a problem with his mouse

He's got a Mac Book Pro running OS X with Windows XP Pro partitioned into it.

Basically, after he installed Service Pack 3, the mouse went bonkers in XP but has no problems in OS X. Apparently, the update rolled back the drivers shit went crazy from there. I have no idea what's up.

It's his laptop mouse pad thing. He probably has them already.

Plus, when he connects an actual mouse same shit happens.

Get rid of SP3. Honestly have heard nothing but bad things about it anyways, so I have kept myself from updating to it.

Really? The only thing I found with SP3 was my boot-up time was a little faster. Mine was slip-streamed instead of patched on though.
