From PWInsider:

The word going around among several talents within WWE over the last 24 hours is that former Women's champ Victoria (Lisa Marie Varon) is planning to retire shortly and would be departing WWE as a performer. I heard a rumor over Survivor Series weekend that she had given notice to management but was unable to confirm it at that time.

She said in one of her blogs that she would like one more run with the Women's title before hanging it up.

Yeah I had a good laugh at that.

I'll miss her, they dropped the ball on her.

WWE has dropped the ball on practically every single woman wrestler. Victoria is a great worker. She was great as a pyscho.

IF they go through with the whole New Hart Foundation thing, they'll have to break Victoria away from Natalya, so maybe there's a chance she'll be moved to Raw. Here's hoping....

She came a long way. Gonna miss her if it's true.

I have always liked Victoria as a worker.

Unfortunately she doesn't have that "look" that the WWE seems to think is vital for you to get a push as a Diva.

I always feel sad when she has to job to a talentless bimbo - she deserves way better. She would be in the top 3 best female wrestlers in the WWE if not #1 IMO.

That hardcore match between her and Trish will always be one of my favorite all time Raw matches.

God I love Victoria. She's great, always worth watching. I swear they dropped the ball on every storyline.

Before Glamerella there was Stevie and Victoria.

I wouldn't really call Glamerella and Stevetoria the same sort of thing, but I kinda see what you're getting at.

I forgot the whole "psychotic" gimmick she had when she was with Steven Richards. Man....

How do you forget that? That's the best she ever was.

I guess the WWE is right about their fans' memory.

I loved her comically unsexy outfits during the diva dress ups (sumo wrestler springs to mind for one).

Victoria is the man...figuratively speaking. I will miss her if she decides to hang it up. She's got to do what she has to do, though.

She's one of the best female performers the WWE has, and one of their best of all-time, really. One fond Victoria moment I have, is when she was part of some Diva Bikini Contest crap, and got voted off, or something, then returned to the ring and killed everyone -- including Jerry Lawler.

I'm a little disappointed we never got a Victoria vs. Mickie James, Psycho Bitch vs. Psycho Bitch feud.
