Because George Harrison was on drugs and decided to add laughs at the end.

Indian classical music requires a lot of discipline. This was something I wasn't used to. Beatles were awesome. I have nevered listened to John Lennon's solo work though. Any suggestions?

Just download Working Class Hero (greatest hits album) then go from there. Or if you want actual albums, "John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band" and "Imagine" are his two best.

It is not really trippy like his Beatles stuff though. And there isn't really any sitars or Indian stuff. That was mostly George Harrison.

I have Lennon's greatest hits. It's different from the Beatles, obviously, and to me not as good.
