View Full Version : Official NHL 2004 sign up thread for the big tournament

First 16 people to sign up will be in it. When you are sign up leave the following information.

What kind of Internet connection you have:
What is the best time for you to play at (EST):
What team you will be for the tournament:

Mine are as follows
DSL
Anytime
Detroit


I will setup and run the tournament. First 3 rounds will be a best of 5 with the finals being a 7 game series. Everything will be turned on (penalties, offsides, icing, etc.) I will draw names out of a hat to determine who will play who in the preliminary round. The winners of the prelim games will go into bracket A (probably the more experienced people) and the losers of the prelim's will end up in Bracket B. Bracket B and Bracket A will face each other in the finals. Obviously we have to have someone win a "prize" for winning it all, so I say that we should all rep the winner of the tourney. Start signing up all, as I would like to have the prelim games out of the way before the start of the playoffs and Our playoffs to start either before or shortly after the start of the real NHL playoffs.

when was all of this decided

We should have everyone in a league first (then we can have an uneven number) and have the top 8 qualify for playoffs, play each team twice or something.
