I know it's one of Punk's moves but what exactly is it and does he still use it?

It's basically a pedigree from the top rope.

Don't think Punk has used the Plunge since he joined OVW.

I was never a fan of it, as most guys are afraid to take it properlly

Punk stopped using it before he even went to OVW because of his "Mutoh like knees"

Horrible finisher IMO.

terrible for an every day finisher, but it would make for a great one off finish to a match. Like after an hour long match, Punk and some dude are fighting to pull off a top rope move and Punk reverses a superplex attempt into that shit.

Nothing to do with the fact it's Triple H's finish but from the top rope then?

No, if I recall he stopped using it before he even signed his WWE contract.

This is true.

Because he wanted to actually get a WWE contract?

If CM Punk ever main evented Wrestlemania with Triple H, he should win it with that move.

Kinda the big one off special like Brock Lesnars Shooting Star Press, except hopefully Punk woulnd't cock it up.

I think at one point Punk and HHH will main event, but I bet his finisher was changed because HHH already does the Pedigree. I like the Pepsi Plunge but that move can end up pretty badly. The Briscoe Brother looked like his neck broke on impact.
