Ah so here we are again with another former star, how did you guys feel about "The man of 1000 hold/ The Iceman" Dean Malenko. Nobody can doubt the wrestling ability if Dean with stints in the original ECW, WCW and the WWE. I always found him intertaining in WCW and WWE but he's kinda like Lance Storm were he's amazing in the ring, but no real mike skill (at least Sotm used that as his gimick). I'm gonna say YAY to Dean, with a slight meh to the way he lost the feuds with him lita, and both Jacqueline and Ivory.

I loved Dean Malenko in WCW. His matches with Jericho and Mysterio were the best matches going on at the time. He was never pushed to the same extent in WWE. It's good to see that he still has a job in WWE, and it's always nice spotting him on camera such as last week in breaking up the HHH/Hardy brawl.

EDIT: I think it'd be hard to find someone who DOESN'T like Dean.

Yea, I think the same thing. There was someone out there who voted nay/ meh on guys like Taz and DDP, people who had great runs before WWE but just didnt get a decient push in WWE.

Well people could be basing their opinions solely on WWE runs, which is why giving DDP a nay/meh would be acceptable. But let's get serious: Taz(z) is has been amazing everywhere.

Basing these opinions only on WWE runs really ruin the whole thing.

I remember what got me into ECW and back into wrestling seriously. It was this insane technical wrestling epic between two of the best wrestlers in the world at the time. It was seriously up there with my favorite match of all time: Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect from Summerslam '90.

The match I'm referring to? One of the Malenko/Guerrero classics that was shown on ECW TV. My jaw was on the floor from bell to bell. Dean and Eddie tore the house down. When later ECW guys left, the fans would chant "You Sold Out." They chanted "Please Don't Go" for Eddie and Dean.

I would say Yay for Malenko for that series of matches alone. Then, you add in the WCW stuff and his matches with Mysterio and Jericho (The feud in which was where Chris really came into his own as a talker.)

Ciclope unmasking after the cruiserweight battle royal at Slamboree 1998 is one of my markiest mark out moments of all time.

Malenko made everything look badass. One example: he had the coolest looking corner stomps I've ever seen. Way better than Austin's.

Man of 1000 holds vs Man of 1004 Holds

I dare say best feud of 98

Huge meh. Techincally sound, but just boring and vanilla.

I would go to him to learn to wrestle, but there is more than being able to wrestle.

I actually like Dean's mic work during that whole Ladies Man thing in WWE where he had that Goldfinger-like entrance theme.

It was like License To Kill. Goldfinger was different.
