Ever since he came back from his injuries, he's been on fire. His promos don't make me want to punch babies as much anymore, and his in ring work has never been better.

That and his entrance music has grown on me.

Orton winning the rumble and facing Cena at Mania where a double-turn takes place would be the best thing ever. I know a few people have suggested this here and you're awesome for that. :D

His interactions with the other members of Legacy have been quite good, slapping them around and what not.

He's still got the most boring heel style I've ever seen though.

Orton is awesome. I love his entrance music, and his slow walk to the ring, whilst staring at his opponent in that sick manner, and just sly looking as fuck. It's great. And his new tattoos just make him look even more badass.

I would say I'm less interested in Orton as I have ever been. It's not that I hate Orton, I enjoyed him immensely during his Evolution days, and during the RatedRKO days. I also loved his "kick in the head" heel run over the summer of 07 all the way through his title win.
Since his return though, I haven't given a shit. Whenever he's gone for a while, he loses a lot of heat and momentum.
Once again, he's no Edge (here comes the debate)

Orton and Jericho are the two reasons I keep watching Raw on a weekly basis. Their recent work has been fantastic.

The finish to the Team Batista/ Orton match at Survivor Series was worth the price of admission alone. Orton is the goods.

As much as I want Orton to be WHC, I feel like that would spell the end for The Legacy. It might start out as "I have gold, now you guys go out and get some," at which point Manu could go for the IC belt and Ted/CAWdy could regain the tag belts and they could run the show. But realistically I can't see that happening. I can see it going sour, with either the youngins getting jealous and turning on him, or Orton ditching them because he got what he wanted.

I know that's completely ridiculous, but it stems from me loving Orton and me not wanting Cena to have the big gold belt.

Yeah, but unlike the Evolution thing, I wouldn't have Orton become a "ladies man." Christ that was shit. It would have been okay if they didn't alter his char...never mind. I don't wanna go there again.

Also with Evolution, there were three good wrestlers in HHH, Flair, and Batista (at the time he was decent in the ring). The Legacy has Ted (awesome), Manu (better than just good, but not overly stellar if that makes any sense), and CAWdy (sucks). It would be a good idea for a face turn, but in my opinion Ted is the only one of the three who would achieve great success from it.

Also if/when Sim Snuka joins the stable, I hope CAWdy is thrown to the back burner. Man I can't stand him.

I gotta feeling that The Legacy will end up beating Sim down after they "discover" that he's not a 'pureblood' due to him being adopted.

Has Manu even had a singles match yet? I have a feeling it will be tough for him to branch out because he comes from a long line of Samoan homogeny. CAWdy shouldn't have a problem; they've probably shown at least a PPV's worth of Dusty clips in the last few years and if Goldust still works their then take a look at your next head of Legacy.

Honestly, I think despite his flaws, Orton probably should have been a serious champion by now. You know, if he wasn't a douchebag and a moron. Most of his depushes are his own damn fault (And some of the injuries probably are, too), especially since he has spent so much time thinking he was beyond reproach. Orton probably cold have got away with a lot of this shit, even, had he not alienated the other douchebags.

Despite being kinda lame on the mic, he's got decent charisma. Despite being kinda weak on the mat, he's good enough to rival most of the other main eventers (Snooze Batista, John "Even my five moves of doom are boring" Cena and "I only have one expression" Edge.

Randy Orton has something going for him at the moment. He's connecting better with the crowds, and it doesn't feel like the boat has sailed on him, like it did after he initially lost the World Heavyweight Title to Triple H, and found himself without much going for him in the years that followed.

I don't think he's good enough to be World Heavyweight Champion. Well, at least for there to be a need to put the belt on him right now. Not when you have guys like Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels on the same brand. There are a bunch of other guys that I'd also put ahead of Orton in ability terms, and in being able to interest me, but I won't go too much into it.

This Legacy thing has been fun. I love the way that Cody Rhodes and Manu aren't taking any of his shit, and they're being elevated to look almost like equals to Orton.

I'm thinking Orton finds his way into the WrestleMania title scene again this year, most likely in a Triple Threat against John Cena and Batista. I'd rather he faced Ted DiBiase, or something like that, though.

Randy Orton is always good enough to be World Heavyweight Champion, sir.

I know there's no reason to give him the belt now, but like I said before, I could see the stable taking all the gold on RAW. I'd love it, except that it would mean CAWdy got himself another title. That I would not like.

I'd like to see Manu/Sim go for the tag titles and Ted go for IC. I know it wouldn't make much sense, and that's different than what I said before, but I fucking hate Rhodes.

As far as Mania goes, I could see Orton in the title match again. I don't think he'd win, but I think he'd cost someone his chance at the title. As far as him facing Ted, I could see that too. It just wouldn't make much sense. That would feel rushed to me, which means we'll see Randy Orton take on Ted DiBiase at Mania.

Why is it that you don't like Cody Rhodes? It's fair enough -- your opinion and all, but I'm just wondering. Personally, he's my favourite member of the group. He's in good shape, has good mic skills and is good in the ring. He's still very young, and has years and years to get better at his craft.

If they did put all the gold on Legacy, I agree with everything, except Ted DiBiase as IC Champion. Give that to Rhodes and have DiBiase feud against Legacy. He and Rhodes have already gotten the rub off being World Tag Team Champions together. Let DiBiase do something else. If they do stick him in the group, then let Rhodes go after the ECW Title, and DiBiase go after the IC one.

As far as Orton facing DiBiase at WrestleMania being rushed? I see your point, as DiBiase does not seem to be anywhere on that level, but if Cena is busy, I can't think of anything else Orton could do. Austin/Orton just screams "boring" me, I'm sorry. If they hadn't already blown the story, Orton/Punk could have been something cool. DiBiase is one of those guys the WWE has big plans for, so putting him in the ring with Orton at WrestleMania Silver might be a great way to elevate him a little.

I have more to say about what you said, but I'm tired so I'll start with this and get to the rest tomorrow.

I agree that he is in good shape and that he has years to get better (barring an injury) but that's it. I honestly don't think he's very good in the ring. I can't stand watching him, he just seems way too generic to be taken seriously. To me, Cody Rhodes is like the default Create-A-Wrestler guy you use to test out your Create-A-Wrestler guy. And I completely disagree about his mic skills. I cringe every time he does a promo.

I guess my biggest problem with him is that I just can't take him seriously as a main-event type of guy. Between his generic look and style, and his (to me) god awful promos, it just doesn't seem like he's going to be anything more than someone's tag along pal.
