So Vista's got a new service pack

Not really sure on the software differences, but it runs hells fast with my 6GB of memory. Had a rough start, but everything is smoothed out now and I am really liking it. Haven't had a chance to do any gaming yet, as I don't have any games at the moment that I could really test it with.

I have heard that x64 is great for gaming though.

It is for games that support it. I got x64 XP when it came out and x86 games were much slower.

Thankfully, virtually all games support it now :D

SP2 is in beta, and I am using it right now. It's been running really well. I currently am only running 2 GBs of ram since I had to send 2 sticks off for RMA, and everything has still worked smoothly.

I think half the reason people hate vista is because they sell it on PC's with as little as 1/2GB ram yknow, it'll run like a dog on anything like that once you've used it for a while and accumulated some files and software. I've got 2GB and its running brilliantly, whats the new SP all about?
