The only good thing about Cena winning last year, was that it kept the #30 entrant as winner thing going. Now it doesn't seem so much a "cursed" number as a "blessed" one.

Back when he was getting a serious push, I was very hopeful that The Brian Kendrick would start off the match #1, ala his mentor, Shawn Michaels, and stay in the match for a long time, eliminating some folk here and there, and having some close calls, himself, before being tossed over. Now I think John Morrison getting that sort of run is more likely.

I hope they use #30 as a really big surprise entrant. Like John Cena entering last year, only actually surprising. Imagine if it were Stone Cold Steve Austin or Rob Van Dam, even if just for one appearance, coming out at #30.

I'm gonna go with Triple H. He picks to face Jeff at Mania, and then the heel turn comes sometime in February about how "HHH was the one who attacked Hardy at Survivor Series", and we have Hardy vs. HHH at Mania, but with a definitive face vs. heel.

I guess if Trips can't be #1 face, he'll be #1 heel instead...poor Edge

When I first read it, I thought it was a bit of a stretch, but I can actually see that happening.

Say if HBK wins the Rumble for JBL, he'll give HBK X amount of money (just something to get HBK out of his bankrupt state). HBK wins, gets the money.

Then the next week on RAW, Shane steps in and says on behalf of the Board of Directors, the Royal Rumble title shot has never and cannot be transferred from one participant to the next. So, like last year's No Way Out, they set up a RAW chamber and an SD chamber (in which JBL will lose his title shot by getting eliminated by HBK).

This branches into a JBL/Shane feud which can make for a sick street fight at Mania, and this leaves about a month and a half for them to give us a nice 6-7 week buildup for the epic WM25 match between Taker vs. HBK (which can be evolved from the simple "I ended Flair's career, now I wanna end the streak" challenge).
