This week's number for Raw, which WWE rightfully trumpeted, was a 4.5 cable rating, with a 7 share. That is up from last week's 3.9 and showed that, for one night at least, the lottery was a great idea. The show did hours of 4.4 and 4.6. As mentioned earlier, it was the show's highest rating in almost two years, when it did a 4.8 on April 22, 2002. The highest rated segments were the 4.7 that they did for three different segments, including the overrun. In other positive news, every quarter hour did at least a 4.1.

Maybe they'll have a lottery every week now. huh

Maybe it was the draft lottery. If Im not mistaken, the first draft to split up the rosters was right after WM X-8, 2 years ago. :shifty:

And after reading the spoilers, SmackDOWN! may get its LOWEST rating in 2 years due to how weak the show was.

I doubt the rating will last.
The week before they were at 3.9, I highly expect the number to go back to that level.
The fact of the matter is nothing happened on RAW that I could see making people who have not watched in 2 years come back on a consistant basis.
Plus, a lot of people were unimpressed by the lottery, which is what drew the viewers, so if people were upset by it, they are unlikely to come back.
Hopefully the viewers stick around, because at least on RAW they have some good stuff lined up (at least until HHH takes his title back in a couple of months), but I dont see why they would based on Monday's show.
