Santino is gold. So he needs some around his waist.

Santino is the highlight of RAW almost every week.

Yes he does. He is one of the best things RAW has going these days and he is consistently entertaining.
It's actually cool that even though he has limitations he comes up fair enough every week.

The whole bad english gimmick got old after a year.
When he held the title it wasn't the focus of him. In fact, it hardly had any bearing.
Santino, while I don't like him, can be compared to The Undertaker. He's not going to need a title to be over and probably shouldn't have one unless the gimmick changes.

Congrats on the name space, Mr. Steele.
I said I couldn't say, because it really comes down to circumstances at the time. If Santino gets on a roll, but is not ready to move up the card, another Intercontinental Title reign would be splendid for him. It might be perfectly called for.
That being said, I don't see the need to put the IC Title on Marella when Regal and Punk can do so much with it still, and bring it to a higher level of credibility. If you were going to put another secondary title on him, I'd probably move him to SmackDown! and give him the US Title next year.

Santino's greatness is more than him not being able to speak correctly. The guy has more charisma than maybe anyone else in the WWE. It's not what he says but everything else he does. His facial expressions and mannerisms are what make him great.
As for another IC run. If they book him like he means something maybe. His last run was terrible. Every match ended the same way. His opponent got distracted and he won with a rollup. Santino looked like crap and the belt looked like crap. Since he was a heel he should have won by cheating, not by luck. If it was booked like the belt was worth a damn I would be all for it.

Santino can have any title he wants to have.

Has he won a match yet? I mean seriously, I can understand people liking him as a comedy character, and that's fine. Doesn't mean he should be winning titles.
He may be one of the funniest guys in the promotion, but he's probably the least credible and weakest booked. He's a jobber with a sense of humor.

So I'm really trashing the idea of him winning a title, not him. If he was booked strong he'd be gold, but he's not.
So he's only half the goods at best. Not really his fault tho.

He needs a lower card title like the Euro title. The IC title should literally be for guys like Regal, Punk and Mysterio. Pretty much upper midcarders, but they won't be holding world titles any time soon.

Santino Marella should call up his friend "Roberto Lashley," and go train with him for a while. Then he can "come back" and start using some of his MMA stuff in the ring, to look more credible.

Santino would be the perfect guy to bring back the European Title.

I was actually thinking that after Regal drops the IC Title to CM Punk (or whoever, I guess), he could bring back the European Title as sort of a "rebound" thing. He gets the first run with it, feuds with D'Lo Brown for a bit (D'Lo held the Euro Title as many times as Regal, and believes it should be treated better, yadda yadda), and then in a bit of a twist, drops it to Santino Marella in New Jersey.
