I was browing Amazon the other day, and they recommended Dispatch for people who like Guster. Well, their recommendations are totally hit or miss, so I decided I'd download a couple of albums and give 'em a shot.
I'd say it's pretty likely that you'd like Dispatch if you're a Guster fan. I've got like 3 albums up on Soulseek right now, so if my internet stays up, it should be easy enough to find.
I can't really speak for people who don't like or have never heard Guster before.

If you are, check out Guster. Any album but Keep it Together. I don't know why, but they've gone from cool and interesting to bland and mediocre. Some of their newer tracks are good, but really...

I suppose the question is, what's the worse fate? To see a goood band break up, or see them make crappy music?
Guster is still together, but playing pretty lame music. Nothing compared to their previous records. I'm not sure they're better off for not having broken up...So sometimes, splitting on a high note is a good thing.

I like some Guster songs. The Airport Song is good..atleast, I think that's the name of it.

That's the right name.
What else you like by them?
Eden and Rocketship may well be my faves. Followed closely by about half of Lost and Gone Forever.

Happy Frappy and Scars and Stitches are from their first album, Parachute (Which also has Eden). Happy Frappy is fu</>cking awesome, BTW.
Barrel's from Lost and Gone Forever (And is one of the songs that got me addicted to them), along with Center of Attention, What You Wish For, So Long, Happier (I know I'm missing at least one, but I'm absent minded... )

Yes. That, or my should-have-been-drummer was seriously misinformed when he walked onto campus with a "Dispatch Broke Up" shirt on. Self-made, of course.
