Dose Mike Knox need a handler/mouth piece?

I always saw Mike Knox as another "throw away" big man but reciently he's kinda growning on me but I gotta ask do you think he could work well with a mouthpiece? I was talkin to a buddy about how Scotty Goldman (who's entertaining on the mike) would work well with a big, burly cross between Henry O Godwin and Jacob Blu, basically Mike Knox has the size and facial hair to fit that. Kinda have a odd couple thing going like with Eugene and Reagal, Danny Dorring and Roadkill (never understood how a "The Rock"ish character fit with a big amish), even DJ Gabriel had Jacob Duncan in OVW. So do you think that Knox could work well in an odd couple gimmick with Goldman, Noble, Jimmy Wang Yang someone like that or just keep him attacking random people?

A lot of guys could use a mouth piece but don't have one because of WWE's stupid assumption that to be over you need to be able to talk.

Could Knox use one? Absolutely. I've always felt the monster-type gimmick is better with someone doing the talking for them, even if they can talk. It adds a layer of mystery if nothing else.

To answer the question honestly: No, I do not really think Mike Knox would be suited to a manager. Not right now, anyway. The thing I've been picking up about Knox's character for months, is that he's not meant to be a stupid brawler. His gimmick isn't that of a random big guy. Sometimes it seems he's almost Machiavellian in character.

He's smart, he's dark, he's brooding, he's patient, he's clever, he's manipulative he's opportunistic -- he doesn't need someone to talk for him, nor to think for him. Just the examples of his work on RAW (attacking Kofi Kingston from behind, beating up a one-legged Evan Bourne, and waiting for Rey Mysterio to slip before attacking him) indicate a man who is not up for a fair fight, having the situational and size advantage always in his court.

Knox has the potential to turn into a cerebral enough character, and well-rounded enough worker that he won't need anyone to balance out his weaknesses. He just needs to stay the course, and have things about his character officially ellaborated on (for example: Why did he steal Evan Bourne's Slammy?).

It'd be awesome to have Mike Knox's history with Kelly Kelly brought up, but I think the WWE has probably forgotten it. I also think they are enamoured with how well Knox matches up with smaller workers (Kingston, Bourne, Mysterio, Hardy etc.).

I didn't see the segment. Did they address her having her contract -- which she forgot she had when she just walked over to RAW -- being owned by him, and their troubled relationship when The Miz was terrorising her for having a relationship with Balls Mahoney after she left his little party also involving Layla and Brooke?

It seemed like they were talking about the two as a possible romantic thing when I flicked on to RAW, which is stupid given that The Miz was a glorified abusive pimp for her last we saw of them.

No, I just mean was his past with Kelly Kelly actually brought up in a negative light? If we're talking continuity, that is where it would be. The WWE could have very easily just been doing a completely new "Chick Magnet" thing with The Miz, and forgetting their past history. I don't know, so I'm asking you. I have no clue what the context was. Were they actually bringing up their history, or was it a completely new suggestion?

Besides, the WWE have been revisiting a lot of Kane's past angles recently. References to him Tombstoning Linda, hooking Shane's testicles up to car batteries, etc. Despite how much they have fucked with his character, they do still remember it. I'm not sure how far they'd be willing to go back for Mike Knox.

So Kelly Kelly has a secret lover? Wouldn't make sense if it was The Miz. Knowing the WWE, they'll do something wacky like have it turn out to be Mickie James.

CM Punk would make sense, but given their past history, Kane should has suspected it. More so than The Miz, anyway. It probably will turn out to be him. But, keeping the wacky thing going, I can see it being Shane McMahon just so you've got two McMahon kids whoring around the roster in storylines.
