Ok, I got a new video game.. During installation it said that my DirectX wasn't new enough and ask did I want the newer one.. I said yes.. All good.. Then after installation and restarting my comp, it now says I still need the newer one..
:?:
I dunno much about comp shit.. Anyone know why this is, where I can download the newer program, or how to fix this in general??
Any help will be apreciated...

OK..
Now I'm really f'n confused... I found a site with the DerectX 9.0 download.. I d/led it, restarted my comp and it's still fuc</>ked... It still says you need DirectX 8.0 or newer...
:wtf:
Get DirectX 9.0b from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=141D5F9E-07C1-462A-BAEF-5EAB5C851CF5&displaylang=en
And if that doesn't work then there is an error with the game and it's not reading it. Come back if that doesn't work.

Anyone know where I can download a direct3d driver, could someone send me the file over AIM/MSN, or do I need to go buy it??

You might have an outdated video card that doesnt support Direct X 8 or higher.
I suggest you invest in a new card.

My current is nvidia something or another.. Couple of years old.. I found the site to update it... Question..
Should the newest update be compatible to a game that requires Direct3d??

James Bond: Nightfire
Got it on sale for $10.. It'd be kinda pointless to buy an expensive video card for a ten dollar game...
But I guess if mine is outdated........
I dunno...
