So, why in the fuck would Bryce Larkin get Chuck kicked out of Stanford to save him from working for the CIA and then send him the intersect, making him one of the biggest international targets of all time? That is my biggest gripe with the show thus far.

my guess is that he doesn't have anybody else that he can trust with it. he's got to get it to somebody because he thinks/knows he's going to be killed and the information needs to go to somebody. it's not necessarily that he wants chuck to have the information, it's just that he doesn't know/trust anybody else enough to give it to them.
they may have explained all of this at some point but i can't recall.

plus if he didn't there wouldn't be a show

Yeah, just seems like he would've been better off letting Chuck go into the CIA training program in the first place rather than intersect his ass without telling him.
I will say that I really enjoy this show so far. My g/f and I are pretty into it.

the reason i started watching it is because the creator is the same guy who created the oc, and i really liked that show, too. this is just so much better because it's a solid comedy, drama, and action show mixed into one. plus sarah is super hot.

Agreed.
Hold on, tirade. And like if the CIA wanted you for their program and you didn't want to do it, would they just make you do it anyway? Made it seem like he would've had no choice in the matter at all.
Sorry, just some thoughts. I understand there would be no show if Bryce Larkin didn't do that.

lol that was a just a smartass comment
i'd imagine that if the cia are recruiting you straight out of stanford for secret agent field work that you would not have a choice. if they asked you to come on board, you would come on board. imagine what they could do to your life if you refused, you know?

Yeah, I guess. Thought they'd at least do a 'you in or out?" type deal.

maybe they did. maybe bryce larkin is just a dumb fuck piece of shit and screwed up chuck's life for no reason. he seems like a real douchebag, so i wouldn't put it past him.

word.
I'm feeeling some sexual tension between you and I right now, WeX. Pretty awkward that we're the only two on the entire forums that watch this show.

i will continue to post in here as the season progresses as long as you do. it'll be our own private chat in the confines of a public forum. when someone comes in and tries to ruin it we will tear them down, possibly forcing them to weep. but if they like the show maybe we can turn this thing into a gangbang.

but fuck it all it doesn't start again until feb. 2
and it's especially odd that we are the only ones who like it since it is on right before heroes. at least one other person has to have seen and liked chuck.

I like the whole secrecy idea. It makes me feel as if we are also in the CIA, much like Chuck Bartowski.

My gf and I just started watching this, getting caught up on old episodes online and then we watched the season 3 premiere last night. So far we've both really liked it even though the premise of the show is pretty weak and the writing is sometimes pretty mediocre as well. But the cast is solid and Sarah Walker is bananas hot.
The first episode doesn't give me the same Chuck feeling.

Well the first episode of the new season was ok. I mean kinda slow moving but I am sure that it will pick up more as it goes along.
Just to me makes me wonder what will happen after this season is over.
Knowing NBC this will probably be the last season of Chuck.

I am hoping that its not the last season of Chuck. Would love to see it go one more season if its possible depending on how the storyline goes for the current season

They've already blown their load on every natural storyline. Chuck and Sarah are together. Chuck and Casey are friends. Everyone knows Chuck is a spy. The intersect was broken but now it's fixed. Chuck killed a guy. We found Chuck's dad. Chuck made his peace with Bryce.
Now we're looking for momma Chuck which just doesn't do much for my interests. But I'll prolly keep watching because the characters are good and Sarah Walker is hot as funk.

Also got mad how they forced the Drago lines from Rocky IV into the last episode. Sounded terribly unnatural.
Chuck hasn't been as good as before, lately, but the last episode was pretty good in my opinion.
