If this is what it takes to keep people interested in Harvey as champ, they need to get the belt off of him ASAP.

wait... the motel attack and the hit and run were believable. whats all this now? we're going to be expected to believe that Christian figured out how to rig pyro? or just that he held the pyro guy hostage with Ass Cream and forced him to set it off early?

what are you DOING, wwe?!

Yeah, this whole "two-show taping" thing is causing them to miss out on developing guys as well as they should be. Why Michelle McCool gets featured on boths shows escapes me.

I would have liked to have seen Victoria get a nice little face run to help the Divas Division become more established before she left. A feud with Natalya could have been very cool.

I'm sad Victoria is retiring already :'(

Mr. Nerfect
01-14-2009, 05:22 AM
She's not exactly a young bird. It's just the WWE took a long time to get on the pot with her, and even longer to shit. Then they just sort of fumbled around with her for years. No man should ever mistakenly fumble around with Victoria. If you get her, you show her the best she has ever seen.

Damn WWE.

Mr. Nerfect
01-14-2009, 05:23 AM
On the other hand, TNA is looking for a top face for their division. While Victoria is "retired," a paycheck + plus might sway Victoria back to the business more so than just a paycheck.

I wonder if the talent cuts kind of forced Victoria into a "go now, or you'll be going anyway" situation?

Last i checked its off to the left and right of the entrance and he stays in the middle.

Someone would alter the direction the pyro would be going off? Personally, I feel that this is much better than the "car accident" chapter of the story.

I'm sure it will come across as horrible on TV. It'll be like The Undertaker's "creepy" effects.

Part of me actually can't help but think that this could be used to further the "Dark Knight" allusions in the Jeff Hardy character. Whether or not you believe they are there, people have drawn comparisons between Jeff Hardy and The Joker. If Hardy got exploded, I could see them doing a sort of "Joker/Two-Face" hybrid character with him. Take note: I'm not saying that they should.

On that note, however (I like my notes tonight): The only way I can see this "psychotic heel" character for Christian working is if he actually does sort of channel a larger-than-life cartoony villain. One of Christian's greatest strengths is his personality. If the WWE bottles it, and makes him "Grrr! Angry Christian!" like they did with Edge, they are essentially cutting off his balls.

I'm just imagining a Christian who runs people off the road, detonates the competition, and then struts to the ring in a colourful robe pointing to the crowd, and I have to admit -- I could see it working.

I wouldn't mind seeing Victoria on TNA and win their title. I doubt it would happen as she is retiring and has businesses in California.

btw, not to jump right on with another post, but this is why I really hate the creative team in the WWE. IDK if it's too many changes in direction, confusion on who's in charge, or just a huge group of retarded monkeys writing this shit, but they annoy me. You have a guy lose non-stop for 8 months with a storyline in the works behind it, and where you have a great oppurtunity to make it pop (a ppv title match, a huge feud with Kennedy, or even a shocking win of the Royal Rumble..and yes I would have loved it to the haters). However, you have him beat Big Show with help from HHH. THAT'S NOT a fucking victory! That proves NOTHING! You have a storyline like this, you need to finish it with a clean, out of no-where win. All this proved is he's now a jobber who was lucky one night...and it doesn't even get a follow up for the next show. V_V

Yea, rant is over...thank you WWE on re-enforcing the reasons I don't watch Smackdown.

The 1st thing I thought of. "Oh, so they've made him into the Joker, so they're gonna go the Two-Face route too."

That is, after I finished laughing my ass off at the thought of Jeff getting his face 'sploded off in the middle of his little Ramp dance.

I'm sure a pre-taped segment will explain why MVP won't be on the second taping.

:y:

I do believe the WWE will do something with MVP on the second show. After watching it, MVP seems like he could be pretty successful as a face. The fans were really getting into him, contrary to reports. Especially considering there was no official "turn."

I'm thinking they'll be an MVP backstage celebration, or a bump-in with Mr. Kennedy, or something.

Also, SmackDown! confirmed that Matt Hardy will challenge Jack Swagger for the ECW Championship at the Royal Rumble, and that R-Truth and The Brian Kendrick will be in the Royal Rumble Match. Kendrick also got his name chanted by a "larger than front-row" section of fans, but I couldn't really hear clearly. Finlay and Mark Henry may have been confirmed for the Rumble, but I missed the start of their match.
