Hey MySpacers!

It’s been announced on WWE.com, so I guess I should address it. This Friday’s Smackdown is my last match with WWE. I started with the company in 2000. I have had so many once in a lifetime experiences. It’s been incredible. I was part of an era in Women’s Professional Wrestling that will never be duplicated again.

Choosing to leave was a very difficult decision. I think many of my colleagues considered me a “lifer”. That is, they thought I’d be with WWE until I was old and grey. But I was not happy with the oppurtunities that were available to me within WWE. And at the end of the day, there are thousands and thousands of women who would kill or die for the chance to be a WWE Diva. It isn’t right for me to fill that spot if my heart weren’t in it.

And I didn’t make a rash decision to walk away. On many occasions I pushed for the Victoria that I’d want to watch. But we were on different pages. I respect their decisions, and they are their decisions to make. Being with WWE is very time consuming. And again, with where we were at, I would rather spend more time at home.

I am a “lifer” though. That may not be WWE for life (although I will always be a fan). But I will always challenge myself. I am a competitor. As you can see from one of the pics in my photo gallery, I’ve been training in Jiu Jitsu. I started for the conditioning, but I have really excelled. It has crossed my mind to enter MMA. I’ve also been learning to DJ. I love music, and this girl has been getting her mix on. Of course I have the custom car shop, Black Widow Customs. And I haven’t ruled out the idea of jumping back in the squared circle occasionally down the road.

I am just so thankful for the experiences that I have had with WWE, for the great friends that I have made with WWE, and the best fans in the world that I have encountered because of WWE.

So what am I doing first? I’m on vacation! I’m not going to say where I am, but it’s warm, and I can look out the window and see palm trees, and I’ll be here for a couple weeks. I have been getting bombarded with requests for interviews and appearances. As for appearances, you can contact me through MySpace for now. When I decide what direction I intend to take, I will acquire appropriate representation, and will pass info along to them.

As for interview requests, several people have emailed me regarding “shoot interviews”. I would like to say this. I am a fan of the Willy Wonka movie. I won a golden ticket. I was in Willy Wonka’s Magical Chocolate Factory for nine years. If you’re looking for an Everlasting Gobstopper, don’t waste your time asking. It’s not for sale.

Finally, I want to thank all my MySpace Friends for your encouragement. I truly feel that we are friends, and I appreciate your support. I will keep blogging, and hope you all keep in touch.

Later Sweet Potaters, Lisa Marie aka Victoria : )

I can't blame her for leaving WWE. She has been nothing but bunny fodder for the past few years.

She isn't going to get a match at mania. I'm pretty sure she has seen the writting on the walls for a long time. Might as well just be out now.

Kinda sums it up for me.

You can only get bogged down in the same rut for so long. Can anyone tell me the last big storyline Victoria got thrown her way?

Like many have said, it seems Victoria's job is to be a jobber, and obviously she doesn't always want to do that. So in a way I can't blame her for leaving. It seems more often now that people that leave don't even get to go out on top since she jobs in her final match. I even remember Tajiri's last match being on a Heat, not even televised.

I'm just going to side with people who thought really positive of Victoria. It's a shame to see her go, but she's not exactly ever going to be used seriously.

The push that they are giving Beth Phonix they could have done that with Victoria 4 years ago.

Nothing against Beth. But Victoria has only been in programs to make people like Torrie Wilson look good, but that failed because Torrie never really tried.

You want Vickie to team up with Santino?

Eww.

Well I meant more as Victoria being used as a unstoppable monster in the women's division.

But no, she was something like a Snitski or Kane for the women's division.

I wouldn't even say I thought positive of her as such. It's just a shame that she wasn't used very well given that she was a talented wrestler, where as they can push the aforementioned Torrie or Candice or Mayrse or The Bella Twins or -- I can go but I don't think I need to.

Well I do like her. I think she had as much "it" as any woman can have in this business without the name "Trish Stratus."

Wow. Very subtle with the "I will sign with TNA" overtone.

Victoria dressing up in sumo outfits and other assorted non-sexy diva clothing was the highlight of Smackdown's women's division. It is a shame they didn't play that up more and make her into the monster she started out as.

Overrated or not, she's leaps and bounds beyond the competition.

Vicky should go to TNA and be the flavor of the week for a bit, then go back to her Motorcycle shop.

I maintain that Victoria vs Molly at WM20 was the best women's match ever at a Wrestlemania.

I'm glad she's doing what she feels is best, I'd hate to see her turn miserable due to an unhappy career. I'll miss her... but then again I've missed her for a few years now.

Victoria was hot, could wrestle, had an awesome psycho gimmick, an awesome theme, and got Stevie Richards TV time. She will be missed. :wavesad:

Overrated or not, she's leaps and bounds beyond the competition.

Not really, the only reason people think she was so good was because she was horrible when she first debuted. Then she improved and people got this perception that she was some awesome female wrestler and that she was the Hulk Hogan of women's wrestling.

Trish was slightly better than what Candice was in late 2007 before her injury. Candice sucked when she first debuted, but she improved and got slightly over. Trish was better than her, but not by much.

And she certainly wasn't the most popular Diva back then as Lita was massively over, while Trish was in a distant second. Lita was the one that made fans care about the Women's title, like her or not. Hell, Lita won two of her Women's titles on the main event of a Raw.

I think the biggest thing Trish did was be Vince's whore, but what Diva hasn't done that over the years?
