I noticed in the credits that he was trained at the Wild Samoan Training facility which, from memory, trained current superstars like Batista and I would imagine most of the samoans. At first I was a bit surprised because if memory serves it's quite a brutal training facility, however on the flipside I guess hard training would come across better on the screen.

Anyway, I was thinking, is it possible that Mickey Rourke put more training into this film than any celebrity who has wrestled in the WCW/WWE have ever done? I'm not sure if there is even a way to compare this but I'd be interested in the discussion. Some of his moves looked like they were executed quite well, although I don't know how much editing was involved.

Also thought that he had the look of Kevin Nash and Michael Hayes rolled into one.

Batista versus Rourke at Wrestlemania ;)

He seemed well trained, and he was already an athelete and all the pro wrestlers seemed impressed by what he could do.

I saw him on Leno. He gave a shout out to Afa and the crowd didn't react and then when he said he was related to the Rock there were some woos.

Keep in mind that he was a pretty serious boxer before he became an actor.
