So this is my next attempt at a new recurring thread but do you think that there is any potential/ reason to keep Lance Rock/Hoyt around in TNA? He hasnt really been doing much but jobbing here and there the past few months since they began pushing Christy in the women's division. I've been seeing him at alot of recient PCW shows in Dallas so I'm guessing he's gonna be back there perminatily soon but do you think he's worth keeping around? I think he's just kinda a vanilla guy with a deicent moonsault for someone who's 6 ft 7 but he's just not that impressive in the ring. I liked some of his earlier work like him and Kid Kash (as the bodyguard Dallas) when they feuded with Simon Diamond and his dimonds in the rough (when it was first Raven and Trytan), and I liked the tag team him and The Truth had before Truth went back to the WWE. So what do you think should they just quietly drop the Guitar Hero gimmick (and Jimmy Rave) and make him a quiet bodyguardish character again, or just keep Christy around and them those two the boot?

I wouldn't keep him around.

TNA are doing nothing of any importance with the guy and I think there's little risk that he'll be wanted by WWE - even less chance that he'd make a big splash if he went there anyway.

He's a pretty bland big guy that has done very, very little of merit. Jimmy Rave is ball sack. Get rid of them both.

He should Team up with Test as twins since they're like the same guy almost.

He's a good talent with a lot of potential, they just haven't done shit with him or given him a real opportunity to establish himself under any certain character or gimmick. But that's the problem with like half the TNA roster anyways, so whatever.

He's been teaming with Jimmy Rave in "The Rock N' Rave Infection" if you've missed it. The whole N' part might not be the actual name but it seems about right anyway.

Um. He's Test but less impressive, and since they fired Test quicker than a hiccup I don't know why they'd rationally keep him around.

Fox, you say he's a good talent, what are his positive traits?

Well, for a relatively taller man his agility is incredible. I remember a match I saw of his against Monty Brown where he leapt to the top rope in a single bound. He's got a fluid style, can fly, can be taken as a physical force as well due to his size, and while he isn't a movie star by any means, he has a decent look too.

The key, I think, is to make him a mean son of a bitch, sort of like Mike Awesome in ECW or even Samoa Joe (before he started bitching about his paychecks). He just needs a good mouth piece and he could be very over.

Okay, so he didn't leap to the top rope in a single bound. But he did hit a pretty bad ass moonsault for such a tall man.

That video reminds me how awesome Monty Brown used to be. Telling the fans at ringside to "move" so he can throw Hoyt over into the chairs, only to fake them out and throw him back into the ring instead. Then he turns to the fans and he's like "That's why you're so stupid, and I'm the alpha male!"
