J.J. Abrams' other show. Anyone else watching this? I freaking love it, especially after the last couple episodes. Walter cracks me up.

Here is a brief synopsis for anyone curious.

Fringe follows the exploits of FBI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FBI) Special Agent (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_Agent) Olivia Dunham, scientist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientist) Walter Bishop, and his son Peter as they investigate aspects of fringe science (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fringe_science) (telepathy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telepathy), levitation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Levitation), invisibility (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invisibility), reanimation, genetic mutation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetic_mutation), etc). All over the world, a series of apparent experiments collectively referred to as "the Pattern" (e.g., a newborn baby who rapidly ages and dies within a few hours, a bus full of passengers trapped in a strange substance like mosquitoes in amber) are occurring for reasons unknown. Olivia, Peter, and Walter are in charge of investigating these strange events to determine their source. Connected to the Pattern is a company called Massive Dynamic, which is a leading global research company that holds the patents for a number of new and important technologies.

Sounds like some X-Files rip off. Though I may check it out if a terrestrial channel over in the UK shows it.

Nah, it is not x-files at all. Like I guess there are similarities cause it is sci-fi, but it is not like the x-files. It is amazing. It is not dealing with aliens and stuff.. it is actually dealing with science, and how some of these things could really be possible. Like, when someone told me about it I had no hopes going in. I thought it was gonna be really cheesy or something, but it is done really well. It is serious, with undertones of humor from some of the characters.

Meh, I have seen every episode, but that's more OCD than interest. I have to finish something til the end, so here's to the show either getting interesting, or canned.

But I do agree Walter, the one bright spot on the show.

I wasn't really sure where the show was going until these last two episodes, and then I fell in love with it. There became more action and drama, instead of just studying cases over and over.

I like it, I didn't see the first episode, but I've caught them all since.

Yeah I really like the last several episodes. This show is just really good, IMO. Not the best ever, but really good.

Going to probably check it out, even though it sounds like a cross between The X-Files and NCIS (one show I loved and one I didn't mind, by the way).
