It probably wasn’t the smartest idea for World Wrestling Entertainment to explain Randy Orton’s recent rash of behavior by saying that he had IED (Intermittent Explosive Disorder). According to a variety of medical web sites, IED is defined as “a behavioral disorder characterized by extreme expressions of anger, often to the point of uncontrollable rage.” What was even more interesting is that some medical web sites even link it to steroid use. Reports indicate that IE can be exacerbated by steroid use based on chemical changes in the person’s brain. Personally I would of just scripted it that he had Schizophrenia.

That makes think how awesome it would be if a huge face all of a sudden starting getting depressed and was pleading with the crowd not to boo them, even though they were getting the pop of the night.
After a while, it could be revealed that they were losing their mind and hearing things, and they started to snap and do heel shit because of it, and when the fans started booing, they could be an even bigger heel by keeping it up happily, all the while thinking the crowd was cheering them.

That was, sadly, what sprang to mind, as well. IED is a buzzword in the vein of WMDs, so I doubt it didn't occur to them.
