Fairly good show. I'm more interested in it because of the body language stuff. I believe being able to solve crimes solely on body language clues is as much bullshit as any other premiss of detective shows, but whatever.

Anyone else catch this show?

They can make a TV show out of anything apparently. I can see a new show on Fox called Valet. About valet parking starring Vin Diesle, Craig T. Nelson and Wanda Sykes.

I just caught part of a Tim Roth movie on tv the other day called Deceiver. He plays the guy getting interrogated, so this show reverses the roles. I wouldn't be surprised if this movie factored into the decision to get Tim Roth, but then again, Tim Roth sells himself.

I just watched the Hulk movie last thursday with him in it after the lie to me debut. He is pretty decent. He reminds me of a smaller, weaselier version of that Hell's Kitchen cook...I can't think of his name. Anyhow, Roth seems pretty good for a douche.

I enjoy this show. Have always liked Roth. Glad they aren't making him use an American accent as well.

Tim Roth and Kirk Hammet play pick up basketball together.

So I started watching this on Netflix, just the first episode and I really happened to enjoy it. It's at that place between old Law and Order and NCIS for me.

Quirky characters but not annoyingly so.

Brilliant, assholish protagonist but, not as ridiculous as House (I loved the first 2 seasons).

Hope the quality continues. Anyone else enjoy this?

I don't remember ever watching Deceiver. I think I made this up to impress Tim Roth fans.

I wonder what is more bullshit. Lie To Me or The Mentalist

The Mentalist can figure out any crime no matter what. The Lie to Me guy needs you to at least talk to him so he can tell if you're lying to me.

I will take your word for it since I have no intention of watching either show

I'm pretty sure that's accurate.

Okay, when I searched the forum I couldn't find "lie to me". Do quotes not work with our search engine?

I guess not.
