CM Punk. Tajiri was pretty good in the ring, but I never really bought him as a threat outside of ECW. Also, CM Punk is just as good in the ring, and I can't really tell if Tajiri was good on the mic.

Tajiri, skilled all around. Good at wrestling, great at acting, has really made his name well knowen in the world. Plus, the man made drinking out of a baby bottle look kind of hot.

When he was Regal's assistant, he proved he can do vignettes in American and bridge the language gap, without really speaking.

the way I see it, is he was a bad ass, unique Japanese wrestler in ECW, and then he pulled off a New York gimmick without speaking...

Not to mention some of the ECW PPV matches he worked. He really was sick in the ring pre-WWE

I really don't think CM Punk has ever drawn any reaction from me, I don't think his personality has brought anything to WWE. I enjoyed alot of his ROH matches, but I really think Tajiri edges it in everything but talking.

CM Punk can hold an imaginary mic and people will believe he is using an actual mic, not to mention when it comes to a real microphone, he can work the damn thing like it was riding a bike. Tajiri, not so much. I've said it on countless amount of times, that it takes an all around in-ring ability and character to be THE BETTER WRESTLER. Punk has over miles and miles of an advantage when you tie in both of these characteristics.
