And with this a hint at what made him spazz out at the lab perhaps?

Looks way better than that X2 Wolverine game. That part where he's spinning around like an idiot scares me, though. Just a silly ass animation all around. It's moments like that which raises red flags and I go from being hopeful to being on a look out (hehe B.O.L.O.).

Rented the game yesterday and beat it this morning. Pretty fucking violent....

I actually enjoyed the game way better than the movie. Only huge problem I had in the game was the fight I had with Gambit was really glitchy and had to restart it about 3 times because I either fell into a glitch or Gambit got locked in glitch where all he did was jump up and down and I couldnt hurt him.

Game also has some pretty interested easter eggs...There is a cake hidden in one of the lab stages and then in the frozen stages you can actually find the sword of the Leichking from WoW.

I love his lunging attack....I got done playing through it a second time to work on a few achievments and its pretty funny because im so powerful that I can kill most normal enemies by just lunging at them. Ill enter a room with like 10 guys and I will just lunge from one person to another untill they are all dead.

Played the demo today, which was awesome. Put it in my Goozex queue. Hopefully, I should have it by Thanksgiving.

I've put over six hours of gameplay in overnight and I must say this is an awesome action game with a shockingly polished combat engine (for a Western developer). Some of the complaints by 'professional reviewers' are bullshit now that I put some hours in. The game does NOT have a chronologically jumbled presentation, it's easy as shit to follow. There are flashbacks and present day narratives, I wanna slap those asses who complained about this. And the combat is satisfying, a bloody brawl fitting of the character.

- I wish there was a 'Style Meter' kind of deal that rewards me for varying my attacks. That XP bonus for differential attacks does not count. Why not go all the way with the action game style of gameplay?
- Two classic costumes, one relatively new one, BUT NO MOVIE COSTUME?! This is the movie Wolverine, where's the X-Men movie suit? This is a glaring omission for me. They got us the long awaited punchline for Logan's "Yellow Spandex" line with the yellow duds on a Hugh Jackman, but the Bryan Singer suit would have been nice (kinda still in shock it isn't there).
- A few wacky bugs, but I'll man-up about it.

Other than that the game is fun. Easily one of the best comic book games put together.

I growl and yell in the Fox Kids' Wolverine voice when I go after soldiers. Loud. It's something I do.

You're weird, kid.

On the costumes thing, I have to agree. In a game like ths, it's kinda standard to string about a bunch of hidden, classic, unlockable costumes throughout the game as a little extra. Only played the demo so I'm not sure which costumes are actually in, but...

They shoulda had:

- original yellow costume w/ the whiskers and smaller points on the mask from the first appearance
- classic yellow costume
- classic orange/brown costume
- Patch costume from Madripoor
- Weapon X facility costume w/ wires and the helmet
- CIA black/gold special ops costume
- Days of Future Past costume
- Age of Apocalypse costume
- black/yellow costume circa 2002 - 2004
- Astonishing X-Men yellow costume (the modern yellow, I guess)
- an achievement/trophy for finding them all
