Interesting note regarding Bob "Hardcore" Holly and his recent release from WWE. The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter reports that when calls came into WWE from those on the indy scene wanting to book Holly and get his phone number, almost no one in WWE had any idea what it was as he was not well liked and reportedly had almost no friends within the company.
Well, that's unfortunate.

Well I guess when u spend all your time acting like a hardass and not seem to be cutting people breaks, that kind of thing can happen.

He's still an ex WWE Superstar, there had to be SOMEONE who'd book him...

Yeah. I feel bad for him for apparently having squandered his social life, but he pretty much earned it. Doesn't entirely surprise me. After all, the only "real life" stories I've ever heard about him were the ones where someone got hurt due to his inability to be adecent guy.

I guess when you beat a tumor into somebody, you're not somebody anyone wants to have a beer with.

Probably exaggerated. I'm sure he had at least a couple of acquaintances unless he was very quiet and private man. If it's true, it's really not surprising.

Bobcore sucked in the ring, and he sucked at life.

Mick Foley had a fun story about Bobcore, but Foley tried to get along with everyone.
Hell, I bet JBL has more backstage friends that Bobcore.

Statistically, he'll befriend one in ten with his antics. Better odds than Bobcore.
