Unnecessary Censorship #1
This is the test run for the Unnecessary Censorship feature on the main site.
Every week or so, I'll post a fairly flexible phrase or "topic" on which it will be based. This topic will usually be based on a situation or wrestler. Your objective is to "censor" an image through blurs. The image(s) must be wrestling-related and somehow related to the topic. You may submit as many images as you want, however, only three images per poster will be eligible for voting. You will have five days to complete and post your image(s).
After five days, I will collect the censored images which I believe are the best/funniest, based on my own opinion and comments in the thread, and put them in a poll. The community will have five days to vote on them, after which a post with the top three will be put on the main site and the #1 choice will be put into the Unnecessary Censorship Hall of Fame.
Image guidelines:
- You have five days to post your image, starting from the time the topic is posted and ending five days later, at 11:59PM EST.
- The image must be wrestling-related.
- The image must be somehow related to the topic.
- You may not reuse an image which you, personally, have used in the past.
- You may submit as many images as you want, but only three will be eligible for voting.
- I urge you to comment on your favorite image. Even a simple "lol" post can make a difference.
How To Censor:
You may 'censor' the images in any way you like, but the following are the most common ways.
Photoshop:
1. "Blur": Simple, take the blur tool and swipe over the area you wish to blur.
2. "COPS Blur": Select the area you wish to blur with a selection tool and go to Filter - Pixelate - Mosaic. A cell size of 5-15 should suffice, play with the options.
GIMP:
1. "Blur": Simple, take the smudge tool and swipe over the area you wish to blur.
2. "COPS Blur": Select the area you wish to blur with a selection tool and go to Filters - Blur - Pixelize. Pixel width and height should be between 5-15 (equal), play with the options.
As an alternative for both, you may make a selection like the COPS Blur and use Gaussian Blur.
