We talk about singles finshers enough, but what about the good ole tag team maneuver? What were your favorites? What made your favorites so good? One of my personal favorites is #1

That #1 is fucking stupid, too dangerous.

Japan tries to hard. It is like they are trying to hit them with every move under the sun, twice, and everyone is still getting up. I know some of you are just so Jap wrestling crazy, but to me it is just ameteur bullshit. I'm getting flamed for that, but whatever.

Didn't the American Males have a good finisher?

Miz and Morrison don't have a tag finisher or even a tag fiisher, therefore tag finishers are pointless and gay.

I will not say that a tag finisher is pointless. It went a long way into putting a team over. Back in the day, the double dropkick was as infamous as a figure four. Tag finishers are an afterthought today becasue the tag division is shitted on. But they were gold!

The gayest finisher that I've ever seen was the Hart Foundations. It always looked like neidhart was receiving the gay lapdance from whomever was taking the bump.

I don't think they ever used it as a finisher, but I always like The Worlds Greatest Tag Team's guillotine move.
La Resistance's tandem neckbreaker (the Au revoir?) and the get well soon wre awesome.
But the snapshot was probably my favourite. Which is why I hated that stupid move Priceless used last monday.

I know some of you are just so Jap wrestling crazy, but to me it is just ameteur bullshit. I'm getting flamed for that, but whatever.Different pshychology over there bro. American style doesn't work over there. Somehow you've got it stuck in your head that the style you watch is the key to sucess and if it works here it'll work everywhere. You are very wrong about this.
There's no sense for the WWE to do the Japanese style. They don't have to, mainstream american wrestling fans don't care about wrestling anyway, they watch it for the soap side of it. So why go all out and try to spots no ones seen before? There's no reaosn to push your self in the ring. Tell your story, go home.
In Japan it's about the matches. What happens in the ring is ALL that matters. The audience atucally gets the product as well so that means you've got an entire crowd of critics so the need to come up with new stuff and be more creative is an even bigger deal.
But calling it amatureish? No way bro.
It's one thing not to like it, no big. But the only thing you prove when you make those claims is how much of a Vince mark you are.

But yeah it's like saying "What the fuck is this? Chunks in my peanut butter? They're trying to hard, this is amatuer peanut butter to me."
BDC, every day I'm more convinced that you know very little about wrestling.
Also, I think my favorite tag team finisher was Power & Glory's

I never said you said that. I was talking to Juan.
BTW, I'm not a McMahon mark, I just preffer sports entertainment wrestling because that is what I'm most familiar with. I've tried to watch Jap wrestling and indy wrestling, but there is just something odd about watching 2 guys try and hit each other as hard as they can, then helping the other guy hit themselves as hard as they can.

Not because you don't watch it, but because you make ridiculous comments like these...

When you talk about how companies could improve themselves your "pointers" all require them to do the McMahon style.
It's fine to dislike the strong styles and such, but you go out of your way to claim the as shit or "ammature-ish" because they aren't the Vince McMahon "mainstreem style."
This is because your a mark of his and the WWE has trained you like a monkey. If Vince started putting over strong style in 5 years you be raving about it.
Alls I'm saying is these "alternatives" aren't shit. They're just different. And neither are supirior. They're just different styles. You like what you like. But both types of workers bust their ass, and when you shit on them for working REALLY good matches you only show how uncultured you are.

Bullshit. The only company I give pointers to is TNA, and that is clearly a sports entertainment company.

I don't mind a strong style as long as it isn't beating the ass out of someone just for them to get up, shake it off, and return the beating only for it to go back again. Every Japanese match I've seen is pretty much that, or a million guys in the ring at once. Seems ammature to me. Deal with it.

Why do you think I only like Vince's booking? I hate Vince's booking. I constantly bitch about how it makes no sence any is just pushing hosses while firing guys that can actually go and have that dazzle.

I don't know if it's there finisher, but the American Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) do a superkick -> german suplex pin -> jackknife rollup pin combo which is pretty slick.
I love the Briscoes springboard doomsday device.
KRS-2 is greatness
WGTT old atomic drop, superkick, jackknife pin was slick too.
I think it was Aries and Strong who did a powerbomb/lung blower combo, which was slick too.

So I got this idea while playing with my wrestling toys a while ago....
<font color=black>last week.... shut up.....</font color>
"Set up & Drop"
Take two singles wrestler that could use a basic move as a finisher. A super kick and a lariat come to mind. First guy the victim with an atomic drop, which lines up the lariat. First guy does an airplane spin on the victim, and while the victim is still dazed the second guy superkicks him. Hell, even an old school knee breaker can be used for this.
Just an idea for a tag finisher I'd like to see.
