Starting February 10th, Blockbuster is running a trade-in promotion as follows.

All current gen game trade-ins (wii, ps3, 360) games will be worth at least $10. It may not seem like alot, but for those of us who hold on to all of our crap (I have a few ea and 2k sports games lying around) it means that our unwanted stuff just got 10 times more valuable.

I will be getting rid of my Fifa 06, Alone in the Dark, and probably Dead rising because I never play it.

Yeah so anyway I hope that was helpful

Even though it says "all", I'm almost positive previous year's sports titles will be excluded. And I'm sure they'll be an excluded list of other titles.

If not, my Burger King games just made me a 325% profit.

Blockbuster has done much, much dumber shit in the past...so It wouldn't surprise me if there are no Limitations. I remember when the psp first came out, they ran a promotion where you could trade in any 3 games and get a PSP game for free. There were no limits back then , either, so I went over there with a bunch of ea 2001, 02, and 03 sports games. It was an epic win.

Long story short, one of my roomates works at the starbucks down the street, and is pretty tight with a guy that works at the gamestop next door, whose girlfriend is an assistant manager at the blockbuster around the corner. He told me. I believe it because when I googled phrases like " $10 game trade promotion at blockbuster", I found links to other boards with likewise topics telling stories of privleged nerd information

Blockbuster never does learn. They do everything they can to hemorrhage money from a business standpoint, but they survive by putting mom & pop shops out of business and being the only game in town.

okay, before anyone goes and buys 46 copies of madden 06, check to make sure that your local blockbuster actually still takes the game as a trade in.
