I think I just figured out my problems with having slow torrents (besides dsl). I am downloading the same torrent using Win 7 and it is much much faster. So something is screwed up in my Vista settings.


I think I'm going to hang with Windows 7 until the beta runs out, then format my drive and reinstall Vista.

I had a 700ms ping. Torrenting has come back with 250kb/s speeds so I kn ow it's faster now.

Yesterday was wierd, my ports started being blocked so I moved my IP adress up one and found one that was 50mbit, torrented off it, whole router crashed and then when it restarted I had this speed on my default IP....
