Struck me watching SD! tonight. If TBK hadn't shot himself in the foot by being a moron, he'd be in the Elimination Chamber. So, if he was there, who wouldn't be and why? Discuss.

Mostly Noid.

Eh, I don't think he was ever really a lock for the EC. Raw seemed to go the mid-carder route out of necessity, but all the SD guys were pretty much set. Edge, HHH, Jeff are all definites. The only maybes would have been if they gave Taker and Show a singles match, and we have seen that plenty. Koz COULD have been TBK, but not really since they've been pushing him pretty steadily since he re-debuted. So there you go.

Unless TBK is so much the man with the plan that after SD's EC filled up he found a way to qualify for a spot in Raw's (replacing Rey). But I wouldn't put him on Raw for that, just make it clear that he's a thinking man and snuck in somehow. I don't know. That's iffy, and leaves Rey out. I'll stick with my first answer.

i dunno, I for one am hoping for a MVP/TBK feud once MVP wins the US title.

Yeah, I'm looking for TBK to get back into the thick of things. I hope he isn't dropped in 6 months because they've really come a long way with him.

Not exactly what I mean. He was in the SD Scramble match and had the most pinfalls therein. He was supposed to be in a top position fromhis singles debut on SD. But he pissed it all down his leg with the marijuana business and whatnot. Now, had he not acted a fool in that regard, one could assume he'd still be on his upper card push. THusly, he'd be about Kozlov level -- higher, if having a personality counts.

As it stands, the Chamber match looks fine. And I'm certain there were no real plans of putting him in it, under the current circumstances. But, if he was still highly regarded, I imagine he'd be in the match. I could definitely see Trips being screwed out of his EC shot by Vicky and being forced to wait until Mania. That could have been a TBK moment, there.

True. Or, quite simply, they could have just delayed the apparent Big Show/Vicky/Edge feud a couple of months. They could have had big show punished and buried for not finishing MVP in that Last Man Standing Match. Have him continue to contract for the Power Couple until he finds a way to secure a shot after Mania.

I don't think he would have made the EC regardless. Like Juan said, I am looking forward to a feud with MVP for the U.S. belt. Maybe a PPV match down the road with MVP vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. TBK vs. R-Truth.

Let's not suggest keeping R-Truth on my television.

THE ONLY REASON "TBK" ain't being pushed like he was suppose to be is simply that he won't stop SMOKING POT (WEED). Because of this he been drop back from having a really big push.

Thanks, I didn't realize what pot meant until you put it in brackets like that.

I am a bigger Brian Kendrick mark than most, so I noticed that when he stopped getting pushed, Vladimir Kozlov started getting re-pushed. It's not like Kozlov was ever dropped, but for a while it did seem like the WWE lost the urge to push him as an instant main eventer, and gave Shelton Benjamin, MVP and The Brian Kendrick the nudge into the Scramble Match, when Vladimir Kozlov was perfectly available to work that match.

In fact, Kozlov was the first guy eliminated from the Battle Royal Kendrick won to be the first challenger to qualify for that bout. So technically, The Kendrick's push came at expense of Kozlov's, as he technically ended the undefeated streak of Kozlov's (although, apparently in Battle Royals, everyone is a winner, because someone who loses them is still "undefeated").

The Brian Kendrick probably would have been in this Elimination Chamber, had he stopped smoking weed (or never really done it), and took the advice of road agents. I think he would have gone in over Vladimir Kozlov.

I also think that he would have been a front-runner to win Money in the Bank this year, but now I doubt he will even get into the match.

Now I realise that I can call the things I have to pluck from my garden "smoking pot."

A. It's about damn time.

2. I, dreadfully, also assume he'll be kept out of the MitB. If he was in it, I'd call him a lock -- expecially if he'd maintained his streak/push all this time. Alas, I have powerful doubts about him getting a new push until even SummerSlam.

His push is pretty much done, until he locks up with MVP for that US Title. TBK, Benjamin, Zeke, and MVP all cook up one interesting dynamic. I'd love to see this program. Whoa, that's too many black people. That's sad, nevermind.

TBK would've been great as the first person eliminated in 20 seconds.
