I have already heard the suggestion in one thread. But I feel like throwing it out more. I will porbably get cucified for it. But, I don't care back to topic. Let Kozlov and Umaga brawl at Wrestlemania Just have them wrestle for the hell of it. No title shots, no nothing. Just have them wrestle like the first match on the card everyone ends up forgetting that match anyways. But do you think it would get Umaga over into Facedom even better?
Discuss

At Wrestlemania, perhaps for this year's MITB, the WWE could have some kind of "hoss for all."
It could be: Kane vs. Big Show vs. Great Kali vs. Umaga vs. Kozlov vs. Mike Knox.
Ultimately, all of the hosses could be used in one match.
I personally wouldn't go this route but it intrigues me nonetheless.

i will discuss, but will not agree. Umaga could be the one who battles in the MITB, or just left off the card. Koslov should be off the card. There needs to be a purely awesome card, and Koslov doesn't belong on that card. Umaga could, and should make it.

Cena VS Big Show--Forgettable?
RVD VS Regal--Forgettable?
Jericho VS Regal--Forgettable?
Finlay VS JBL--Forgettable? Ok maybe this match.
But I think I recall quite a few matches that began the Mania card that were not forgettable by any means.
But yes, Kozlov VS Umaga could actually work as a powerhouse vs powerhouse match. I am always a fan of Umaga's matches and I think Kozlov would give him a good match.

Umaga should be used to spice up the IC title, or the Tag Team Division. He's not needed on either ME scene, although he's shown potential to perform well when given the chance. Stick him with manu, let Manu get some face paint, and let them rip shit up.

I wouldn't mind it if Vladimir Kozlov were left off the WrestleMania card, but if he does have to be included, I say get Finlay and pair him with Umaga, to face Big Show & Vladimir Kozlov. It'd just be filler, but it'd be pretty decent filler with Finlay being great, Umaga being good, Big Show being pretty good, and Kozlov being bad-to-carryable.

Kozlov shouldn't even be at the Wrestlemania.

Wrestlemania X, anyone?
Also, putting Umaga in a match that's meant to be 'forgettable' will not help him get over, but I think he would work well with Kozlov.

The Great Kahli shouldn't have been at wrestlemania 23 but he was there wasn't he? Kozlov will most likely be there so get over it Umaga should fucking squash him.

That's neither an optimisitc outlook, nor a good suggestion.

Look i am jsut saying a slot filler. I didn't liek the opening match at last years (JBL vs Finlay) Wrestlemania. Oh and my godi just said this to I didn't like Shawn MIcheals vs Ric Flair. The only reason it got match of the year is because he was retiring. Edge vs Undertaker outshined that fucking match. Tehre is going to be at least one shit match. I don't care what you say from each Wrestlemania I have watched there has always been just one match i don't like. I may want to see Umaga mop the floor with Kozlov as much as there pushing Kozlov he will be there get over it. If I am wrong I will make Lux have sex with you.

I don't even really know what you're trying to say anymore. All I'm saying is that you can have a match that's not meant to be a huge draw, but it can still be entertaining. People tend to give their best performances at Wrestlemania. I'm just hoping for good matches on the whole card.
Finlay vs. JBL really wasn't that bad either. Also, Michaels vs. Flair was one of the best matches ever. Not really sure what you're talking about there either.

A moot tag team match for no point misses the idea, Noid. It's not about a main event, either. It's what I already called it: Undefeated vs. Unstoppable. It's Hulk vs. The Thing. That's all, and that's enough.

Maybe Kozlov and Umaga can compete to appear in a Japanese shampoo commercial.

MIcheals Vs Flair was not. I have just basically stated in case you can't get it through your head. Is that every match is not going to be great deal with it. So why not but a battle of the powerhouses on there? Holy shit! i made suggestiong and shared my opinion now every little punk bitch has to come on here and cry. Goddamn every wrestler is right when the say internet fans are ruining the business.

I like the idea of a Kozlov and Umaga feud, but I don't know if it would be good enough for Mania. That being said, I get where 86 is coming from. Kozlov shouldn't be on the card, but he's going to anyway, so a match with Umaga would at least be him doing something somewhat entertaining.

Settle down, hot shot. I think Kozlov and Umaga would be fine, as I'm pretty sure I've already stated in this thread. I just meant that having it be a squash match would be a bad idea. You are being super defensive and I wasn't even attacking you.

There's going to be two people left out of this four way dance with Taker. Are we to presume that they will have their own match at mania? Or, will this end up being a handicap match? Where we really think 'Taker could lose. Maybe only JBL is left out the mix, HBK v Taker v Koslov would be...interesting.

There are only 2 people out of the equationg that i
believe are actual threat to Takers streak and that is Umaga or Shawn Micheals.

I haven't seen Umaga mentioned in the Taker race yet, but He'd be a good fit for it too.

Kozlov shouldn't even be at the Wrestlemania.
I agree. I think they just want to "humiliate" Kozlov by having him lose his first match at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania to the Undertaker. Then again, they could easily pull a swerve and have Kozlov win the biggest match of his career at WM, thus "tarnishing" UT's perfect record to 16-1.

Kozlov lost one match already got pinnned or tapped in the ELimintation chamber. SO its only a matter of time before he is gone. He has no more appeal so iw as jsut saying making him lose to Umaga at least he can be that one guy that lost at wrestlemainia

02-22-2009, 04:04 PM
Kozlov had appeal? He's still undefeated in singles competition, BTW (that's why he's still "undefeated").
I said this in my thread: I wouldn't mind seeing the two go at it, just not at Mania. It doesn't seem like a Mania-caliber match, so there would be no point to waste a spot on the card for it. Have it on Draft Day.

Yeah but after CM Punk lost in the Extreme Elimination Chamber his undefeated streak was over. So would the same rule apply to Kozlov.

No. His undefeated streak was ended when Hardcore Holly pinned him clean in the middle of the ring on an episode of ECW.

Kozlov vs Umaga could be an awesome match that blows the roof off the joint...or it could be like Warrior vs Hogan and fucking sucks balls.
If Kozlov WERE to be at Wrestlemania though, I'd rather have it be against Umaga that waist anyone else on jobbing duty.

Ok, but that was a 6-man free-for-all. The undefeated record is clearly only referring to his singles (1-on-1 only) competitions.

I know he's really not pussy he is Sambo champion. But i just had to talk shit about him. I liked a little bit at the first but then when i saw him start wrestle somebody other then a jobber. I started to realize how much a mistake WWE made.

You sir, are correct. And Kane86, in case you need proof:
WrestlingTruth.com/Wikipedia
...Punk went on to have a solid 6 month undefeated streak in singles competition before losing to Hardcore Holly on the January 9th, 2007 episode of ECW.
Well that is just fucking stupid. He gets worst worked match of the year and there still putting the pussy on a pedistal. Everyone knows you don't put the pussy on pedistal.
And yet you're calling for him to be on the Wrestlemania card. He doesn't deserve the spot. Again, if a Kozlov/Umaga match were to take place, have them wrestle for a pick on Draft Day. That way it won't take a slot on the Mania card. It'd be better to see the match on TV than PPV anyway.
