Yeah its Wenesday, I meant to post this yesterday but I'm lazy.
Anyone else rooting for Punk NOT to win the MITB qualifer? I mean, I'm not anti Punk (thuough the 3 friends I watch RAW with are) but I feel like he doesn't need the rub. He probably won't hurt the match, but I felt the spot would have been better used for Morrison (even though I think they'll still put him in it)
John Cena without the title is actually not bad. Vickie is the perfect to get people behind Cena, but I'm actually kinda enjoying his current chase for the title. He's witty- albeit predictable and I'm enjoying him. Take note Vince, he doesn't always need to dominate shows.
Kozlov and HBM for the match at Mania next week.. joy. Though I do think HBM will get a servicable match out of him.
So now, we're getting the weekly Jamie Noble jobber segment. All I could think of was that I hope the Jericho legend slander segment is better than this crap. Fuck you, Vince... we have this shit on weekly, but guys like Elijah Burke don't have jobs...
Can we please do something useful with Jericho already.....?
Based on how little of Cena we've had lately I'm wondering if he's hurt or not
The whole HHH-Legacy spat would have been much more awesome if HHH had an axe instead of a sledgehammer

I was with you up until Jericho. He doesn't fit in the current title picture, so I like what he's doing at the moment.

The Jericho segments have been hands down the 2 best segments of the last 2 weeks...
Possibly 2 of the best segments I have seen in years.

Pretty much in agreement except the Jericho/legends feud is the most consistently entertaining and interesting thing in WWE right now.

This. The segment with Piper was goddamned epic in pretty much every sense.

Agreed, not to mention that unless he loses the title before then that this will be the 7th year since the IC title wasn't defended at WM. Then again, with there being 3 world titles, the IC and US title don't seem to have meaning anymore.

I disagree. My only issue with John in the past was introducing the spinner (though probably not his decision to begin with). Now, he just irritates me in every way. He is a good talker, but his promos instantly kill my interest...like they killall momentum to the match build up. I mean Hulk Hogan barely sold it in the ring, but at least he could sell an opponent in the promos. Cena just tends to say some random thing having nothing to do with the storyline...something either corny, long winded, or just plain stupid. If Edge and Vicky weren't involved here, I'd have no interest what-so-ever.
Kozlov and HBM for the match at Mania next week.. joy. Though I do think HBM will get a servicable match out of him.
Meh. I rather HBK start having promo with Taker than wrestling for the right to face him every week. This will probably be my pee break.

Don't worry, with the damage Mike Knox did, he probably won't be around for a few weeks.

They are, and I'm loving it. Granted, I also don't know where their going, but I did watch Ricky-Jericho's segment 3 times already. Good stuff.

Seriously...you're questioning this? We're not seeing alot of Cena...don't jinx it.
The whole HHH-Legacy spat would have been much more awesome if HHH had an axe instead of a sledgehammer
Yea, because that's what we need...escalation in wrestling weaponry. Hell, I'm still waiting for the day that someone finally thinks it will be a good idea to bring a pistol to a hardcore match.

Well, yes, but I also don't want to see CM Punk on TV.
Still, there are people it would better serve to elevate, so your main point stands.

Sort of agree. Cena chasing is marginally better than Cena holding. I still think retooling him would be better. And he doesn't even need to be risqué enough to bump the TV G rating.
Kozlov and HBM for the match at Mania next week.. joy. Though I do think HBM will get a servicable match out of him.
Michaels will make the match good enough. Not exactly jumping for joy, but it won't suck.

What's this about? I DVR and skip through a chunk of Raw, so I may have just missed it.
Can we please do something useful with Jericho already.....?
Mostly agree, but at least he's doing something and he's entertaining.
Also, I think every show should have Shane-O getting gang raped by random people.

Was marking pretty hard for the Jericho/Steamboat segment. Same with him and Piper last week.
Sincerely wish that Steamboat could go for one more match. If he could, he and Jericho would tear the house down.

I don't mind CM Punk going into Money in the Bank, truthfully. They need to include some guys who have World Titles under their wing, so it doesn't just look like a mid-card match. While I was very excited for last year's match, the only World Champions in it were CM Punk and John Morrison, and that's only if you count the ECW Title.
If the WWE includes Rey Mysterio and maybe even JBL (yes, it seems like a waste of a spot that could go to someone who could do more awesome stuff, but it would make sense storyline-wise), you've got a pretty decent looking line-up for the match this year. Also, I'm now hoping that the WWE gives John Morrison & The Miz a tag team slot on the card. Hopefully against The Colons.
John Cena without the title is actually not bad. Vickie is the perfect to get people behind Cena, but I'm actually kinda enjoying his current chase for the title. He's witty- albeit predictable and I'm enjoying him. Take note Vince, he doesn't always need to dominate shows.
John Cena without the World Heavyweight Title is much more refreshing. To be honest, they should have been building him up to win his first World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania this year. But too late now. I still cannot stand Cena's cliche character, but Edge and Vickie Guerrero are heat machines.
How I would mark out for a double-turn between these two at WrestleMania.
Kozlov and HBM for the match at Mania next week.. joy. Though I do think HBM will get a servicable match out of him.
I agree. HBK could get his ass kicked by Kozlov and make it entertaining. The most entertained I've been by Kozlov is when he's working with smaller men like Colin Delaney. Shawn Michaels is a smaller man that is just in a league of his own, so hopefully we get a match that can qualify as "good." And hey, if it's not, then at least we probably won't see too much more of Kozlov near the main event.
So now, we're getting the weekly Jamie Noble jobber segment. All I could think of was that I hope the Jericho legend slander segment is better than this crap. Fuck you, Vince... we have this shit on weekly, but guys like Elijah Burke don't have jobs...
I wish they'd use Noble better. What was wrong with letting him feud with Tyson Kidd on ECW? The WWE has a very bad habit of completely dropping Jamie Noble's programs: Him being Nunzio's "cousin," his stuff with Chuck Palumbo, that program with William Regal, and now the stuff with Tyson Kidd.
Some sort of push for "The Big Dog" would entertain me greatly.

I have a feeling this program is going to lead to greatness, and be the sleeper storyline heading into WrestleMania. Any occasion to see Ricky Steamboat is great by me. Jericho is also the deepest character in the WWE right now. Truthfully, I really want to see him feud with The Undertaker after WrestleMania.
Based on how little of Cena we've had lately I'm wondering if he's hurt or not
I sincerely doubt it. But if he was, as awful as it is for the man, it'd at least be a breath of fresh air, creatively. I wish he would go make another movie, or something. Let Edge take him, and look like a threat for a change.
The whole HHH-Legacy spat would have been much more awesome if HHH had an axe instead of a sledgehammer
And if the thing hadn't looked so cheesy. It's like Triple H was trying to hit everything not named Orton. I think I am one of the few that is reluctant to bite into this angle.

While I'm sure the WWE will do a "bigger" match at WrestleMania, and stick Jericho in there with Stone Cold Steve Austin, or someone; Chris Jericho vs. Ricky Steamboat at Backlash, or something, would be epic.
Perhaps the WWE could bring in Ricky Steamboat, Jr.? It'd be like the Randy Orton/Cody Rhodes storyline that brought up Cody, but with it being Jericho and Ricky's kid, I'm sure it'll be a lot better from an in-ring perspective. Truthfully, one of the more constructive things this angle with Jericho could do is bring up the "son of a Hall of Famer" to fight for the honour of Hall of Famers in general. Someone like Joe Hennig, for example. That match would be awesome.
