Wrestling News World reader Robbie Shklov sent in the following taping results:

SmackDown opens with Vladimir Kozlov vs Undertaker and Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy being announced for later in the night.

John Cena opens to mostly cheers by calling out Edge. He asks for a World Heavyweight Championship re-match. Edge accepts, but Vickie comes out and says Edge won’t be competing tonight. Cena charges but Vickie says something. I can’t hear because there is so much heat on Vickie. She introduces Big Show as his opponent for tonight instead.

Carlito & Primo vs. The Miz & John Morrison for the WWE Tag Titles
A ton of Missed spots took the crowd out of it. The Bellas come out and look fantastic. Carlito hits the Backstabber on Morrison for the clean pin. The Colon’s leave with the Bellas.

John Cena vs. Big Show
Huge pops for both athletes. Great long match with offense back and forth. John Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment and then Edge runs out. He slides in and out of the ring without even touching Cena. Very weird spot. Cena looks at Edge and gets the KO from Big Show. High elevation Showstopper for the pinfall victory. Edge gets in the ring and poses over Cena. Edge is limping noticeably.

Undertaker vs. Vladamir Kozlov
A very long match that was boring in spots but the crowd firmly behind Undertaker. Kozlov botches snake eyes twice. Surprisingly clean pinfall victory for Kozlov, however, after he reverses Old School into a powerslam.

Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy
Matt out first, then Jeff comes out in street clothes. Jeff on the mic says they’ve always been together and that they will always be brothers. Matt says he is not his brother. He goes on a long semi-shoot about how the fans love Jeff more and how it is about Matt this time. He says the fans wouldn’t forgive Matt if he committed Jeff’s sins. Matt blames the fans and Jeff for his mediocre career. (Way to throw the ECW championship under the bus huh?) He says Jeff is all hype. Matt says fight me but Jeff refuses. Matt slaps Jeff twice but Jeff walks away to a mixed reaction. There is no match.

Shelton Benjamin vs. Chavo with MVP at ringside
Shelton throws Chavo into MVP at ringside. Taunts MVP then gets cradled for the victory. No one in the crowd knew it was a three count. Shelton hits the Drive By as Shelton looks stunned by his defeat.

Dark Match Main Event
Casket Match between Undertaker & Big Show
The match lasted literally a minute. Both wrestlers had long matches beforehand and looked exhausted and uninterested. Boot by Undertaker, Big Show hits the mat and Taker rolls him into the casket. Good Night!

Biggest Pops:
John Cena
R Truth
Umaga (Seriously)
Undertaker
Jeff Hardy

Most Heat:
Vickie Guerrero by far.
Matt Hardy
The Divas tag match (It’ll be interesting to hear the edit)
R Truth being taken out
Jeff Hardy (Deciding not to fight)

I have 2 personal comments:
1.) I for one, am glad that Miz & Morrison did not leave as Undisputed World Tag Team Champions, fuck what anyone who disagrees says.

2.) Who's dumb-ass idea was it to start calling Cena's F.-U. the "Attitude Adjuster" (or Adjustment not really sure which), and his S.T.F.-U. just the plain STF when he still does the hooking of the heel in his own way?

So Edge got hurt? Uh oh.

Yeah, you could see him limping on RAW

Please, God, if you're listening, don't use this to unify the belts and make Cena Undisputed Champion...Triple H I would be OK with, but only because he's been Undisputed Champion, and even though they would probably book either with a ridiculous year-plus run I'd much rather see Triple H than Cena with gold, especially if the belts were unified, which I doubt would happen, and I hope it doesn't, either, but still, both belts being on SD! right now, and with Vickie being GM of both brands, it's entirely possible they could be heading for at least a 2-brand unification where the Undisputed Champ competes on both shows or whatever. I mean everything's all in place for it...

Sounds like a cool finish

Sounds like a cool finish

Yeah, but you can pretty much count on one of about 3 things to happen Monday:

1.) Kozlov squashes the living hell (no pun intended) out of HBK,
2.) J.B.L. interferes, as well as 'Taker, and we get a Fatal-4-Way,
3.) Either from scenario 2 interferes, costing Kozlov the match by hitting him, and we get JBL v. HBK v. Taker @ WM.

or

4.) HBK beats Kozlov and goes on to face Taker at Mania

I'll believe that the Tag Titles get unified if they throw both sets into a melting pot and make new ones. AND the Colons start floating between the shows.

Miz and Morrison should do a 'Dirt Sheet' at WM. That would own all. Then they should beat The colon's and niggas r us in a triple threat.

I love the In Crowd/Colons feud, if not only for whenever Morrison sees the Colons he says "It's the colons!" with a completely serious look on his face. IMO, it's the best feud I can remember them being in (although the previous feud with Jesse and Festus was pretty good, with all the games they played with the bell and Festus).

Kinda disappointing to read that the Tag Title match had a lot of missed spots, though. I'm sure it'll look fine on TV, but I had high expectations after some of their past matches.

Also interesting to see that Umaga's getting legit face pops. Last week it sounded like blatant sound editing, because the cheers were waaaay too clear.

It's a shame about Edge being injured, but it legitimately piques my interest for WrestleMania. What's the bet they just do Cena vs. Big Show, though. Hoo-fucking-ray. Hopefully Edge isn't too badly hurt.

John Morrison & The Miz winning both sets of Tag Team Titles would be awesome, but here was not the place to do it. WrestleMania, perhaps. Mizorrison have been dominating The Colons way too much, so Carlito & Primo needed to get a big win over the World Tag Team Champions to look competent as a tag team.

Is anything confirmed about Edge? If not, the please stop pissing in my cereal guys! Let's hope it's something that won't keep him outta Mania.

I don't think so, and that the WWE hasn't jumped on this and keeps things moving forward leads me to think that it's nothing major.

If Edge were to miss Mania I would be very sad.

I'm paranoid that the WWE is going to make him a cliche babyface, though. His offense in his match against Shelton the other week had redundant time-wasting face stuff in it.

Yeah, I know, I'm a downer in this thread.

Shut up, he's a face, will do typical "cena" face moves (see "U can't see me" chant during the 5-knuckle shuffle)

but its MVP and Ballin' is so much better then U can't see me anyday.

Mr. Nerfect

Doing typical face moves is part of the reason fans turned on Cena in the first place. Remember, Cena used to be good, too.

I really hope they do Shelton Benjamin vs. MVP vs. Chavo Guerrero at WrestleMania for the US Title. Maybe throw R-Truth in there, making it a Fatal Four-Way. All three (four) of those guys are good workers, and you're bound to get a very fun Mania sleeper match.

Or you can just toss them all in Money in the Bank...

No, it doesn't, but, at any rate, if it makes any difference, I basically just copied and pasted from a website, because that's the lazy bastard I am when it comes to posting spoilers here. Thought you knew that.
