Ian Broudie's Lightning Seeds will return with their first album in nearly a decade in May.

The Britpop act, who scored hit singles in the '90s with '3 Lions', 'Marvellous' and 'Sugar Coated Iceberg', have named the record Four Winds, according to Teletext.

"I wanted to take all that has made me who I am," said Broudie.

It will the group's first studio album since 1999's Tilt.

The Four Winds tracklisting is:

* Things Just Happened

* Ghosts

* Said And Done

* Don't Walk On By

* The Story Goes

* On A Day Like This

* All I Do

* I'll Be Around

* I Still Feel The Same

Makes me happy anyway.

Three looooooooooooooooooooong waits coming to an end this year, with new Red Dwarf in April, new Lightning Seeds in May and Ghostbusters 3 shooting in the fall. I'm a happy geek today.

If Steve Austin comes out of retirement too for WrestleMania as rumoured, that's all my favourite elements of my youth coming back as I approach lower-middle-age.

There'll be nothing left to look forward to.

I was at the England-Italy U-23 games, first ever in the new Wembley Stadium, and they played "Three Lions" as they took the pitch. It was awesome.

I've heard the album, it's amazing. The single, Ghosts, is probably one of the weakest songs, so it is baffling why they chose to release it, but there you go.
