Those overhead cameras are a bit of a joke. They're used in the NFL as well. Do you think they should be allowed after this?

And I can't believe the play wasn't stopped after each time it happened, ridiculous.

Can't they hoist the cameras higher up and just put them on zoom mode?

I think the one in Paris was just being gay. Considering it had never happened before, and then it happens twice in one game. Something must be up.

I don't think the NFL have them out during kicks/punts and field goals. And they always keep it behind the play so the ball won't hit it anyway.

In the NFL the cameras are pretty much exclusively behind the action, so unless the quarterback threw a ball backwards it would never be a problem.

I think the French were just being really stupid then, I'm sure the camera is supposed to be out of the way during a situation of the game like that. I'm sure it's only usually used for an overhead look at the scrum to see which way it's wheeling, and it stays well behind so it doesn't get in the way of any box kicks.

Yeah, since it's behind the action I was more curious about the chances of the ball hitting the support lines.

LOL, a bit of common sense needed there methinks.
