So people really liked The Jackyl but thought Kurrgan was meh at best (big suprise there) so I wanted to maybe see if there is any love for one of the more underrated tag teams from the attitude era the headbangers, yay or nay? I always thought the headbangers were a simple gimmick, but itworked none the less. Two guys who liked metal and dressed in rock T shirts and skirts, I use to love the whole tough guys where skirts shirts they came out with. I dont know too much about there early time as the flying nuns and didnt care when they tryed to push Chaz (Mosh) as a singles compeditor as Harry Cleavage or with Lo Down. I remember when they won the NWA tag titles and renamed them the Universal tag team championships and did Road Dogg style promos with them, before losing them to the Oddities I think  The hardcore title thing was funny like in the video chasing Crash through a play house and I use to like the stage dive finisher they had. I'm gonna give them a solid meh with some yay moments and dont think that they should be treated as the black sheep as they sometimes are.

I was a fan, but they didn't really do THAT much from what I remember. Just another team that happened to be there.

I would have said meh, but that video brought it up to a yay. I miss the 24/7 Hardcore rule, it was stupid but it was a fun stupid.

I think the Headbangers would have worked in ECW much better than in WWF. Vince really botched the gimmick with his announcing. Every time they'd come to the ring he would say something like "Well, I don't really understand them, but I guess our younger fans love them! Ha Ha! WOWWWW!!!" They could have played much better as anti-heros instead of men in skirt babyfaces or angry heels. ECW would have been able to capture that, but WWF at that period was just the wrong environment for it, so for that I'm giving them a NAY.

They re two time tag champs, so they weren't THAT bad. I was a huge fan of them.

No, they weren't bad. But teams like them were a dime a dozen.

They did nothing for me. Just a couple of bland dudes in funny costumes. I don't even remember their finishers.

They weren't bad, but they weren't great. They could have been used a little better, but so could tons of other tag teams. They get a meh.

Voted meh, but I remember that Funtime USA thing. Funny stuff. King's commentary didn't annoy me for once either.
