From PWInsider:

Koko B. Ware is the latest confirmed name for the 2009 WWE Hall of Fame class and may be announced as early as tonight for the induction ceremony next months.

We had noted a few weeks ago in the PWInsider.com Elite Newsletter that Ware's name had been floating around as a possibility. Well, he's now confirmed.

hmmm, not really who I would of guessed to be a hall of famer. He was a jobber to the stars in the WWE. He had a nice little run in Mid South, CWA and other territories, but nothing too spectacular. I like the guy, but Hall of Fame worthy? Nah

Who the fuck is Koko B. Ware? I mean I know he was the fruitcake with the Parrot. But besides being a 3 second clip from one of the Mania's.

Well, Vince's limo driver is in the WWE Hall of Fame, so the bird man is fine.

I read that WWE is planting fake news to avoid stories leaking, so hopefully this news is a product of that.

Watts probably pushed for it. He was the one that actually woke up and pushed african american wrestlrs. See Ron Simmons.

I still can't believe they are actually going to put Koko in if this is true. It's weird because today's WWE HOF is really not WWE favored. They actually have done a lot right and put a good mix of guys in there. This one's out of left field

WWE has been planting fake stories for years.

In fact I think someone was fired over it a few years ago.

I thought Koko being in Legends of Wrestlemania was a joke, but this is really a joke. Nothing against the birdman or Frankie, but when I think Hall of Fame wrestlers I don't think about Koko B. Ware. Especially not when there are guys like DiBiase, Jake, Rude, Owen, Bulldog, and others out there who deserve it more. Ah well, I've given up trying to understand WWE logic at this point...

Watts also wanted a tag team in WCW called "The Posse" which would be a rich white man and two black guys.
