It sounded way better than the copy my friend had. The amount of detailing was simply amazing. Just wanted to share with you guys. Do you still use Vinyl Records? Enlighten me...man it sounds so right. :eek:

I'm gonna go back to a 2 Channel System. I just need to get a few thousand dollars to build it.

I have a couple of vinyl records but no record player. Really wish I did though. And I agree that they just sound better.

All I know is that Vinyls are analog and Audio CDs are digital in nature...hence they work similar to optical mouses as far as capturing is concerned. I guess there is a loss of info in Audio CDs.

Yeah. I have a download of the master copies of Pepper and White Album. The full multi track versions. It is unreal what is lost in digital mixing, and what you get from a 256k mp3 or less is shocking in comparison. Might as well record from the radio!

There is a Beatles book that talks about how Pepper was recorded, and the techniques they used. If you read that and then listen to full quality versions of it, it will blow your mind.
