But Hassan was Benoit'd a while ago.

Who else has been magically erased from history?

1. The fact that John Cena has ever lost (via sub)
2. The WWF Scratch logo and Lou the barber.
3. Cryme Tyme as the #1 contenders for the Tag Team titles.
4. Extremists and Vixens.

Hassan was only with the company a short amount of time, never really accomplished anything special.

As for being erased, Kurt.

Was he in the NWO?

Was he in the NWO?

Of course he was

Every wrestler in history has been in the nWo. Just watch an episode of Nitro from 1998-1999.

Hassan wasn't really Benoited. Unless there's been censoring of DVD where they delete Hassan matches.

They don't delete Benoit matches from full show DVDs.

Kurt hasn't really been erased. They still show highlights and stuff featuring him from time to time.

How has he been erased? Sure, they don't show him in montages or promote his "legacy" on programming, but I don't think that has anything to do with anything other than the fact that his career doesn't call for that.
I don't think he's avoided, as much as he's just forgotten (like hundreds of others).

Erased...from existence.

Yeah, it's more like he's been Stevie Richards'd.

Excuse me, but he was a heat machine. Hassan, by virtue of his gimmick, got Vickie style heat before we knew who Vickie was. Hassan could get Freddie Blassie style heat if he wanted.

He never won a world title. He never had THAT feud. He was good/geat yes, but he never accomplished anything.

He should/could/would have, a real shame to be honest. I don't se how they could have wrote something which acknowledged who he was but gave him a similar style character after the controversy.

WWE also isn't mentioning Chris Masters or Matt Morgan.
