View Full Version : JBL's Surprise... my thoughts...

So, this is what I'm thinking ...

I'm really intrigued by the 'behind the scenes' gimmick that JBL is putting out for WrestleMania.

I've been watching it closely and reading online and it kinda makes sense (not like they may even do this, but it just seems right..)

What I think is that JBL is hiding a secret about Shawn. I think they are still in cahoots and doing this for what JBL set out to begin with, headline WrestleMania. And even though he won't be wrestling for the World Title, he would certainly make waves that night.

What is is exactly? Well, since Shawn is against The Undertaker, JBL will do what it takes to make Shawn the winner, have The Undertaker lose, and it will be HISTORIC as it will be his first loss at WrestleMania! Surprise, Surprise, make Shawn heel with JBL, saying they've been working all along to ensure the biggest moment at WrestleMania. Then JBL and The Undertaker feud for whatever months. Oh, and then Retire in the summer..

OR

JBL just gives everyone in the WWE Universe a free case of his new Energy Drink??

Ehh, what's your thoughts?

sounds like a tremendous and interesting storyline, which means it will not happen

What is this "behind the scenes" gimmick exactly?

He ain't retiring. He's booked to wrestle in the UK a few weeks later.

Your idea is a good one, but fuck knows what WWE will do with this. One thing is fo sho. I is ordering WM25. I ain't ordered a PPV since last years WM and if they get anything near Morrison with a ladder, Orton / Trips correctly done, a big SWERVE, and some other massive shit. I'll be excited and I'm sure we'll be all happy!

It's time for something BIG to happen! There's a little renewed interest in the product now, they need to buck up and keep us hooked. I dunno if that means Russo style booking, cos that worked last time, but just something big.

He's rumored to be retiring in a few months.

Yes, which is why this thought is way out there and just won't happen. But it makes you think how big it would be for an Undertaker loss at WrestleMania.... and for someone like JBL to make it happen.

The other question out there would then be, where is the big storyline that follows? Okay, a JBL/Undertaker feud, but that'll last one month and people won't take it seriously. Shawn and Undertaker could happen, but hasn't that been done already? The only thing I could see happening long term is if they introduce someone into the mix as well ... Maybe with Paul Bearer's help? I don't know.. the more it's thought about, the more of a good short term plan it is, but doesn't give way long term.

Yeah yeah, don't disagree. I just think it'd be stupid to announce retirement for the summer at WM and after last years epic Flair retirement, WWE would not want this to be a run of the mill feeling.
