I was just wondering if anyone had any idea on the teams involved in this years championship and what the drivers lineup were for those teams. Would look it up myself, but the Internet ot the location i am using it from has blocked access to F1

Yeah, he's apparantly pretty damn good for only 19 as well. Coulthard is the reserve driver for Red Bull/Torro Rosso only for the first 2 races as Hartley was unable to get his superlicense on time.
Suprised Vettel is still @ Red Bull. Even more suprised that Pedro De La Rosa and Luca Badoer are still alive

How are you surprised? He has only just signed for them!
lol true story. Toro Rosso/Red Bull, my brain didn't distinguish the difference between the 2
Thank God they canned the rule change regarding the championship winner being decided by most wins.

Agreed, here's hoping they don't ditch the colour scheme!
Best thing is, Brawn are meant to have awesome race pace too. Most of their testing was long stints 70+ laps.

LOL, the Brawn GP car was the heaviest of the top 10. They're in a league of their own!

Almost shed a tear hearing The Chain this morning, full Grand Prix's uninterrupted, no James Allan, everything looking a lot closer this year (besides Brawn walking away with it, but F1 politics will stop that in a hurry).
Will be interesting to see just how reliable those Brawn's are tomorrow, whatever happens, its going to be a great race, will be intriguing how much KERS impacts on the starts of the Ferrari's.

I could be completely wrong, and I'm watching the rerun now, but I thought Hamilton never went past Trulli, Trulli overtook Rosberg first, then Hamilton did.
Ah well, will find out in about 40 laps, amazing race though, ITV must be completely kicking themselves, gutted about Vettel and Kubica, my 2 favourite drivers taking each other off....ah well, they've got a lot to be pleased about, no KERS, no questions about the diffuser, no one expected them to be as quick as they were, those 2 are just awesome drivers.

There was one point where I saw that Hamilton was ahead of a Toyota, but Glock finished 5th so it could well of been him, they didn't show or mention Hamilton passing Trulli, and Hamilton was a good second at least behind Trulli after he past Rosberg, so I'm really confused by it.
The amazing thing is, in 2 and a half weeks, Hamilton might win that race.

Trulli went onto the grass at a corner that wasn't picked up by the cameras, Hamilton went past Trulli into 3rd, then believed he had to surrender the posistion back as you're not allowed to overtake under the Safety Car (and we all know how much the FIA like to jump on Hamiltons mistakes), so Hamiltion slowed to let Trulli back into 3rd. It states in the rules that you may overtake under the safety car if the car being overtaken leaves the track, or has a problem, so Lewis was entitled to 3rd, and Trulli shouldn't have re-overtaked Hamilton.

McLaren have guided him for 12 years. Advising him on everything. We're not in that position, but tbh, I can see why he would trust someone who "knows the rulebook inside out" and has been at that team more than double the time he has been associated with them. 12 years is something, 25 is immense.

Vettel, Alonso and Webber are running a good 20kg lighter that the rest of the top 10, so they're going to have to pit quite early, I don't really see then gaining a significant enough lead to stay ahead. I think Button has a very good chance of making it 3 out of 3 as he should be able to do a long first stint and pit when the field has spread out.
25/1 on Rosberg is not a bad bet, quite tempting.

It's still early, but wouldn't complain. I have always enjoyed Button as a driver when he was with Williams and BAR / Honda / Brawn. Didn't care much for his Reno days, thought he was on his way out tbh, but I always routed for him.
2003 really made it for me, I thought he was amazing. His driving style is fluid and smooth and I think sometimes that can be rare, it's nice to see that difference.
The only feeling here is that next year they may fall behind again as so many teams may look at this, write off this season especially BMW if they don't get on track within the next 5 races and do what Honda did and dedicate all to 2010. Manufacturers can do this, but private teams can't as they still need to please their backers.

I thought they did a mandate a few years back to make F1 more simple to understand moving into new territories and keeping with obtaining new viewers and to simplify the championship.
We'll see how it goes. But hopefully they'll thrash something out that just says "You have £40m max to use. Do what u want with it".

if you talking about Brendon Hartley, i knew that, been all over the news. Im getting sick of hearing it over here actually. But it is good to see him get his licence. only 6 or so other kiwis have raced F1 so i would love to see him even race just one race.

Pole ██████████ I would have said Vettel before Quali.
Race Winner: Button
*Bonus: Shock points scorer: Kubica, he's well placed and still hasn't scored.
After reading Quali reports, I think Massa is in with a very good shout, he's the heaviest of the top 4, and has KERs off the line.

LOL Massa almost ran out of fuel and had to settle for 6th. Button is totally dominating, his title to loose now.

Ferrari have just announced that they will not enter any team into the 2010 Championship if the budget cap rule remains.
Any team wishing to compete in the 2010 Chapionship must register themselves for it by May 29th.
Balls in your court Mosely/Bernie.
BMW has a shitty season so far. With all those technical difficulties I don`t see Kubica doing as good as last season.

You just watch F1 cos there's a Polish dude in it?
You just watch F1 cos there's a Polish dude in it?
No, quite frankly I don`t watch it at all nowadays. I used to watch it with my dad when I was a kid, now I don`t find it interesting. It`s just all over the sport news here, hyped a lot because there`s a first driver from Poland in F1.

You know, I love F1, but don't understand the contant rule changes.
It all seemed to start with Schumacher and Ferrari dominating the championship, and people say it's getting boring because of it, however, isn't that the aim. To be the best and stay the best?
The last few years has been okay, with different champions from different teams, but now I feel that we're going to get back to square one, especially if the budget caps come into effect. Only, the momentum will have swung in the direction of a smaller team, which is at the moment Brawn GP.
Ferrari are the biggest F1 team in the world, and F1 without them, however much Mosely says it won't be affected, it WILL. Ferrari generate a lot of direct sales and sponsorship opportunities for FIA, purely by being in the championship year after year.
Liken it to Manchester United....if they left the premier league, the PL would miss out on all the revenue generated by Asian fans of Manchester United.
Not sure why they can't just leave it alone.

You would have to assume that Ferrari leaving would have a negative impact on the sport.

I think it's right that they're out to improve the sport. It's like many others things, people will agree with some, but not with others. But every now and then the FIA comes out of a meeting with golden smiles and then produces a document on their new ideas and it's like. SERIOUSLY, WTF ARE YOU TAKING IN THERE? - They seem to be the only ones who can see the benefits of their randomness. It's like u can tell their big wigs and politicians and not racing people at all.
It is pretty shit that Schuey and Ferrari had the rules change basically to stop their dominance, but at the same time they overcame the odds many times and proves they were the best. But agreed on the fact they had the money to do this.
Regards this whole fiasco. A budget cap IS the way to go. It doesn't dampen advance technologies, just means teams have to use their brains on where to spend it. It's also only limited to R&D if I'm correct, so they can spend whatever they want elsewhere. But this two tier thing is a shockingly shit concept.
As Alonso rightly said, we don't want a glorified GP2 championship.
They should agree on what is a right budget cap. There's no reason two entrants can't combine together to enter a team under say a £75m budget. The idea of F1 is it is the pinnacle of F1, so you do need it to be out of reach for any old idiot (see early years of 1990's and Andrea Moda for example) who thinks he can race straight off the cuff. It should be for dedicated individuals who build their own chassis and manage their team, sponsors, technical partners etc themselves, not buying a pre-packaged car and racing that.

Yeah, I love the glitz and glamour, but the track is so thin, there are very few places for proper overtaking, etc.

It's a different track, I'll give it that. Should be a fun race. I always think of Hamilton when I think of this track, so hope he does well. I was never his biggest fan, but have never hated him, I was always a Button man. So obviously, hope he wins again. I'm desperate for a Button championship. Even better, if they solidly focus on next years car now too as this one seems to have it all but sewn up. They can dominate for years to come.

Button has really already got his hands on the championship, u can't throw away a lead like that, either way brawn gp are gonna take both titles anyway.
And Give it a few years and Vettel will own F1
Vettel = Baby Schumacher

In my opinion, button could throw the rest of the year and still win the drivers champ, seeing that this year its on race wins, not points
