0, that's right, lol.
I still go to music stores and purchase actual cds and support the bands that I like. Granted, on the occasion when I can't find some out of print album that I'd really like to have, I'll try to find it online and then burn it on a cd.
I can't imagine having tens of thousands of digital music files. Man, I can empathize with the music industry, if my career were in the music industry I'd be pissed too, that is an insane amount of lost revenue.

You know you can rip a cd that you own onto a computer and then put it onto an iPod or whatever, right? My entire CD collection is on my iPod.
I have 40 gigs of porn on mine. And 3 gigs of porn on my DS.

I know, I shouldn't have sounded like I generalized that all are free downloads, I expect ripped cd's. But I doubt that most people buy 1000 10 track cds. :p
I obtained 100% of my library illegally.

Doesn't seem to be hurting them much.
Pretty sure Fiddy Cent and Beyonce aren't hanging out at a soup kitchen.

Actually, downloading has made them more money than ever before. People are trying before they buy. People are downloading legally. People are buying ringtones. They are rolling in it.

I've been meaning to update my ipod since I only have a 4 gig one with 1005 songs on it.
Most of my library is from cds I do own, but I do download some things. No point in buying a cd if I only want a few from that one, I just download them. Though I still go out and purchase cds from bands I like, since I do know record sales are still important.

I have a 2g iPod with almost 700 songs on it. I listen to a shit load of music and need a larger one, but can't afford one. Having to delete full albums and rip CDs every couple of days is pretty annoying.

That's the dumbest thing I've read in a while. My digital files are either ripped from my CD collection or purchased--That's right, legally bought and paid for--Through legal digital distribution.
The assumption that all digital music must be stolen is one of the reasons the music industry are fucktards.

0 because I just accidently deleted them all, because itunes sync feature is the most useless cock sucking faggot mouth piece of shit feature for anything thats ever been invented.
If I click on a box that says "sync only videos" then thats what it should fucking do.
If I paid for any of that music I probably would be really angry right now.

Yeah, iTunes is composed of about 67% fail. Some of the features are great and everything else s like "ffs why?"

Why would you create something that effetively wipes out the entire contents of a device with the push of a button? Has disaster written all over it.
Never had a problem with itunes til now, tbh, but that shit is mad retarded.
Luckily I was smart enough to back everything up on an external hard drive, but it will still be annoying to have to re-upload everything.
