This one isn't that special except for the fact that I had floor seats:

Also, Smackdown was awesome in 2002.

Lesnar's entire run was pretty awesome. I was always a mark for him.

I was just thinking today how WWE could use someone in the same vein of a Lesnar or a Vader.

Lesnar was/is the man... not the greatest on the stick, but he held his own in the ring and then some..... F5 was a killer move too....

Lesnar was great. However I think he found the right career in UFC. He was a great wrestler, but in UFC it proves how good he really was and how tough he is. However, I do miss him.

wow, it was really that long ago!?? It was still WWF when he first arrived! That's shortly before I stopped watching wrestling, seems like it was only a year or 2 ago.

Pairing Lesnar up with Heyman made him so much more entertaining. That was a great choice. Lesnar was the in-ring entertainment, Heyman provided the magic on the mic. :y:

That weird slam he done to hurricane almost like a spinebuster, i remember him doing it to rikishi and it looked like he fucked it up but its exactly the same against helms. Almost like he loses his grip and just dumps them. :wtf:

The f5 also looked great back then, as time went on it had less and less impact and got slower and slower. People ended up landing on their sides and not "face" first. Dunno what changed about it, was almost like he used to throw them round when standing and it changed to them getting thrown round when he was already falling, less height ,less impact less rotation on the move.

Pretty sure he did it fairly often, at least in his ambushes. I know they rendered it for the SmackDown! games.

As for the F5, I have to assume he was asked to tone it down. He was fucking wreckless with it for a while. Also, as time went on he wrestled bigger and bigger guys so I guess he couldn't get the spin he needed as often. Still loved it, looked brutal as all hell.

The problem was as he movd up the card he started facing way bigger peeps.

Lesnar was awesome.

And for the record, I don't blame him for leaving. Life is ridiculously short, and he had a chance to realize a life long dream.

Fucking loved Lesnar. I wish he'd come back into wrestling, but he seems to be doing well enough in MMA to stay away for now. :(

Shit. The first spinebuster into the trashcan was wicked.

Brock Lesnar's first heel run was just magic. His feud with The Rock where they didn't touch until just before Summerslam was excellent. His feud with The Undertaker was excellent. Even his feud with The Big Show was great.

Brock Lesnar's departure from WWE was unfortunate for the company and the fans. It turned out well for him, but I honestly think it left WWE in a mess that they are just snapping out of now.
After Wrestlemania XX, things went bad quickly. I don't think the much maligned superman pushes of Cena and Batista would have been so over the top. It would have been accomplished more competently.
Brock was the torch carrier. Evenutally he was going over HHH clean. Probably at Mania21 and if that had happened before he bailed I think they would have had an even harder time getting new guys over in his place.

I would have loved to see more of the Lesnar era, and his fueds with HHH, Michael. Would have been so different to see him be the one to help elevate Orton and Cena for a new generation.

Cena would have been below Lesnar until at least 06.

Lesnar was also indirectly responsible for creating the term "Orton'd".

Maybe Lesnar is the cancer cell planted to kill MMA.

That would be just like Vince, rehashing his old ideas.

Brock Lesnar was one the strongest people in the ring. If anyone has seen the clip where he gives Mark Henry an F5 . He shows no effort when throwing him around.

I thought he just turned down a million dollar contract and then walked.

That F5 on Henry still gets me now. Fucking amazing.

Seriously, the guy is possible the strongest man I've seen in WWF/E.

I remember the hype here on the old TPWW about him coming through from their development territory back then. People were saying he was huge and stuff and then when he came in, he was hyped perfectly and seemed to live up to it. Heyman with him was the shit too.
