So, HBK's Anti-Taker promo, Awesome or Totally Awesome?

Also, HBK needs to come out at Mania in a similar fashion. If anything, I want him dressed in all white with the opening "Light Druids" before going into Sexy Boy.

I haven't seen it yet, but I have no doubt it will be totally awesome.

Undertaker part was the best tho.

Houston is going to be fucking HOT for this match. I could see it rivaling Rock/Hogan.

whoa! HBK got old!

Taker should wear his original attire for Wrestlemania, and Michaels should style his hair like '92-94 - seriously. :shifty:

Seriously, the production of this match is going to be off the charts.

As an aside, how weird is it that in a good vs evil storyline, both guys are faces?

Theo Dious
03-27-2009, 11:29 PM
I'm also suggesting that HBM needs to come to the ring in some interperetation of a flaming chariot, and Taker needs to come in on a white horse (or possibly a white motorcycle.)

Totally Awesome. This entire feud has been totally awesome. All the promos. Even when you go back to 97 and 98.

One thing, JR did not sound too excited.

Yeah, I just assumed he was tired out, it was the end of a double taping.

Jeez

HBK should turn heel as a preacher, telling all the wrong doers of their sins and that they're going to hell if they don't repent. BRING BACK THE RIGHT TO CENSOR!

P.S. What's HBM?

Dunno bout that.

"HBM" = Heart Break Man = "HBK" = Heart Break Kid = Shawn Michaels

We'll find out, won't we.

Two face Texans in the second biggest feud going into Mania. Even if it doesn't rival Hogan/Rock, it will be one of the hottest crowds since then.

HBK's gonna lose.

But what a fued.

James Steele

I think that there is a 10% chance HBK will win.

Holy Shit.

I have not ordered a WWE PPV in over five years. But I will get WM simply for this match. What a perfect build-up, and this match is going to be amazing. They're gonna blow the roof off Houston.

And that promo was awesome. Just as the promo in the graveyard. And any other time HBK has touched the mic in this feud. Perfect. And he's convinced me he might actually win - something that Edge, Batista, or anyone else has ever convinced me.

One thing, JR did not sound too excited.

It was a post-production voice over which JR has said a few times that he can never get as enthusiastic about as if it were live.

And yeah, this'll be immense. Everything has been set out so well.

I just wonder what King (on RAW) meant by 'is he gonna be the Undertaker we've known at Wrestlemania?'

I hope this closes the show. I'm usually all for title matches closing the show but in the case of last year after Flair/Michaels the show lost steam. I'm going to be in the 6th row for this one.

I am really excited about Jericho vs Steamboat/Piper/Snuka.

I really think that it will be Jericho vs Steamboat (w/ Piper/Snuka/Flair/Rourke), and even if Steamboat was in a wheelchair he could have a ***** match with Jericho.

But Shaun Michaels is bog eyed and that spoilt the Raw video

I just wonder what King (on RAW) meant by 'is he gonna be the Undertaker we've known at Wrestlemania?'

He means, is he going to be the unstoppable force he always has been at Wrestlemania, or are HBM's mind games going to rattle him and make him less effective.

See, that is how the Mordecai gimmick should have gone.

He sounds all preachy and shit. Oh-lawd. The music hit as I was typing. Awesome.

As for his Wrestlemania, I sort of want him to repel down on a cable and mix in the Undertaker stuff, but I don't know how.

I'm a firm believer in the title match always ending the show. It's gotta be Triple H vs Orton to close.

Wooo I'll be 6th row too :D

I don't know how great this would look considering the Owen incident, but descending from the heavens into the ring would be pretty awesome.

I disagree myself. I thought after Flair/Michaels the show was still great. Edge/Taker was amazing.

This year I think the same format should be applied. Orton/HHH should close the show with time, and this match should be closer to the middle of the card in order to let the crowd settle down a little bit and bounce back.

One of the biggest mistakes in Wrestlemania history was putting Hogan/Rock right before the "main event", but I think the placement of HBM/Angle, Goldberg/Lesnar, Flair/Michaels and other non-title main events early in the night shows they've learned their lesson.

Yeah this match should be at about half way then have the Divas match follow.

RatedGSuperstar
03-28-2009, 06:49 PM
I'd be tempted to wedge it in between the two title matches, but I'd pity whoever has to go on after this match. They're probably just better off putting it after Jericho/Legands and before the Divas clusterfuck or something.

Ben Rodrigues

Thing is though, I remember a ton of people walking out once Undertaker vs Edge began. I wasn't that into the match either until I watched it back on DVD. Michaels and Flair stole the show and everything that followed seemed subpar.

Xero

They should have just put the WH title on one of them, because God knows they fucked that one up.

That was not an option AT. I will say however, that Shawn's promo on Raw was much, much better.
