So RIP Andrew "Test" Martin but lets see what you think about his wrestling career. Like I said I've always been a fan of the "solid big man" wrestlers, and I liked his early work in WWE as the corperate hired gun to his days with Trish and Albert (T&A). The one thing I liked about him was that he used a wide virety of finishers from the flying elbow, to the pumphandle slam, the testdrive to the running boot. I wasnt a big fan of the feud with Steiner of Stacy but I did like his return to ECW. I liked him as the Impact Player but it wasnt very long till he was mid carding with Mike Knox, and was released from WWE. He spent a short time in TNA under his real name Andrew Martin but left the company due to backstage problems. I'm gonna say Yay to early Test work in WWE and as ECW's Impact Player, but meh to the rest.

Other than his stuff with Shane, he never impressed me.

I could've sworn you did one of these with Test already.

Anyway, I've always been a Test mark. While his "short hair stuff" wasn't as good, he was a damn good worker and could work a crowd, especially as a heel. His early stuff was great and he should have been a bigger player coming out of the wedding angle but he pretty much got hosed on that. His stuff with Shane was amazing.

His ECW run was awesome. I thought he should have been champion and really played off the Impact Player and God's Gift to ECW nicknames.

I liked his stuff with Steiner/Stacy, but it certainly wasn't a highlight. His T&A work was good, as was his Un-Americans work. Basically I thought he was the man. Great worker with a lot of untapped potential. Not saying he should have been World Champ, but definitely upper mid-card while maybe challenging for the title at a few pay per views.

So a big Yay from me for Test (again).

I voted meh. I didn't think he was that great during his early days with the Corporation. I thought he was kind of bland as a face coming out of that. I hated T & A. He started getting better with the UnAmericans. His ECW run was pretty solid. Didn't catch his TNA run.

A lot of this has to do with me hating the pumphandle slam.

I distinctly remember this thread popping up right around the time you did the Dean Malenko one. Oh well, I've said my piece on him. He was great and died too young. :(

Always liked Test. Back in 2003 when he cut his hair and changed his attire I honestly thought they were going to have a go at shifting him to the main event (after the whole "Immunity" thing failed). Then came ECW and I got excited for another Test main event attempt. I guess it just wasn't meant to be... :(

But for a guy his size, Test was quite athlete and fast in the ring.

SO the question I have would there be so many Yays if he was still alive or are people jsut voting for him because he is dead.

I enjoyed him during his fued with Shane, and his work in 2001 during the invasion. I stopped caring for his work after that.

So I will give him a yay overall. Yay to his first few years in WWF, nay to his last few years in WWE/ECW/TNA etc.

Probably not. His death had no bearing on my decision though.

Sad though.

I voted meh. I liked him when he first came in with TNA (Test and Albert), but when he came back to ECW I just wasn't a fan anymore. I don't know what it was, but I just didn't

I dunno why when they teamed with Val Venis for a while they didn't call them T.N.A.N.V......V as in Vagina
