Chris Jericho Found Dead In Hotel Room

WWE Superstar Chris Jericho (real name Christopher Irvine) was found dead early this morning, in his hotel room in Phoenix, AZ. He was 38 years old.

Hotel staff were made aware of unusual sounds coming from the room, shortly after 4am. Staff were unable to make contact with the first ever undisputed WWE champion, despite repeated attempts.

The door to Mr. Irvine's room could not be opened, after problems with the electronic access device meant that staff were unable to break the code. Eventually, the hotel manager allowed his staff to break down the walls, leading them to discover the body in the bathroom.

This tragic news comes just days away from Wrestlemania 25, where Jericho was scheduled to take on three legends of the sport. It is unknown whether the angle will be dropped, or if another superstar will take his place.
