I think this might be next to impossible with Vinnie's ego, but instead of making a watered-down ECW stable or a watered-down ECW "company" they could just to a one-time show. An ECW Reunion show in Philadelphia.

Let Paul Heyman organize everything. Give him a budget and let the good times roll.

It may be difficult to get Raven,Justin Credible, etc. (ECW icons getting the screw from Vince and company).

But, WWE does have alot of old ECW talent. (i.e. Dudleyz,Spike..wait he is a dudley...,Taz(z), Tommy Dreamer, and i think they still have Nova in OVW)

I think a 3-hour Spike-TV Special would be awesome. Have classic rematches and the like. And have Mick Foley wrestle in the main event versus somebody in one final classic match for the Mickster. That might save some of the credibility that is left after Orton has taken over the past 6 months or whatever.

And oh yeah, what's that guy's name? Rob Van Dam? And yeah, that would be pretty sweet man. But then it'd all be over. But a watered down ECW doesn't really appeal either... then again, ECW might get more exposure now, and maybe it wouldn't be as bad as we think. I dunno, we'll just have to see I guess.

Damn You WWE, you made me forget about RVD! And we all know that nobody gets higher than Rob...Van...Dam!

I did not even think about him...brainfart. I just was trying to remember who has been screwed by WWE.

It would be sweet, especially if they let them just do whatever, and kept it kinda low budget (like the real ECW).

It'll never happent though, because guys like Sabu and Raven already have other promotions they work for, and the WWE would fu</>ck it up somehow.

Anybody watch the ECW Byte This? Heyman and Dreamer were shooting like crazy and promised to be as close to the old ECW as possible, even going so far as to promising that people like RVD and Richards who have jumped to WWF/E will NOT be the watered down versions you see today.

They say they won't be watered down...we'll see. I am not saying it can't happen, but I will wait til Monday to give the final call on how true that statement turns out to be.
