On any wrestling game whether its Day of Reckoning or Smackdown vs Raw.
How do you go about creating your wrestlers. Do you model them after ones that you see on TV and DVD?
Do you have your own orginal designs or do you create wrestlers that work for other companies? Like having Abyss or Bryan Danielson in Smackdown vs Raw.
I like to model the wrestlers after ones I see on TV and DVD and mix them together.
Like I have one that's like a cross between Abyss and The Undertaker and one that's like Wifebeater, Abdullah the Butcher and Necro Butcher.
But how do you create your wrestlers?

Honestly, I tend to make myself and people that I know IRL.
It was great in RAW2 with the 4 player season mode. My brothers and I would just get smashed and play through the game as ourselves.

If they don't look like them they at least have a style of wrestling close to them.

Typically I just create my ECW favorites(usually Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu, etc) and a few random favs. like Goldberg, Piper, etc.
Sometimes my friends and I create one another. Was fun back in the day. We haven't done that in forever tho.

I like to make original, fictional characters. I like unique tights, and designs.

These. Sometimes we make characters from other games too. I've got a pretty close-looking Balrog from the Street Fighter games in SvR09. My brother saw JTG's in game entrance and he was like "... I'm gonna make Vanilla Ice".

This is the greatest post Kane86 have ever dropped.
I like to make original characters and follow the model used for real wrestlers where I don't create more detailed and showy attire until I'm satisfied with them on a match by match level. I also keep the same CAWs over the years, some I've had for a decade now (since WWF Raw first allowed CAWs) and I'm IRL fond of them.

I have one original wrestler that I've created in every wrestling game that features CAW. I think his first appearance was WWF Warzone, going all the way to the present in SvR 09.

Well I always have one wrestler named Nemesis and he always fits the same mold. You know 7 foot tall and very monstrous. Its tradition I ahve been creating him since the first few smackdown games.

I always create myself first. Then I do people who are in wrestling (WWE or other companies) but not in the game. The I make some sweet originals (I like them anyway).

I only do originals really becasue I like to writ eout my own fueds and shit. I liked it when they had creat a PPV but since they got rid of that. Now i have to just stick to making the Tournament of Death.

I create mostly originals, some others from video games. Like everytime I get a new wrsetling game I create the guys from Streets of Rage. Mostly everyone is an original though. I like rivals with all CAW's, which is why I liked GM mode the most.
Just recently, I had Blaze turn heel on teh SOR and Adam and Axel are pissed about it. Blaze joined a stable called Fear Factory and Adam and Axel teamed up with Homy G Jim and Homedawg Steve (The White Rastas) to fight them and they didn't include a girl yet. I mark out for this kind of stuff.....

I used to have one called Nightmare. It started off in the first SD for PS2, and with a real CAW in a SD game. I believe it was Just Bring It?) And he was the typical big built, as tall as you can go monster. Nightmare just happened to be the best announcer call name, so I stuck with it. In recent years 'Nightmare' has been removed, but I've just stuck with it and had the announcer call him 'The Monster'.
Unfortunately he hasn't made it into SVR 09, due to a lack of time, and the effort it takes to build up attribute points. Perhaps I'll do it soon.

Well maybe its time you bring him back. You know like that one legend who comes back that give you goosebumps because you know he will kick some fucking ass. Just a suggestion.

Haven't created anyone in SvR '09...also, something that pisses me off is that it's freakin' impossible to create a decent Shane O'Mac CAW in this year's game, let alone find a decent formula (for PS2) for him either. That sort of thing just really bugs me, like when you know that they've included "templates" for certain people who you want in the game but they know will be impossible for you to actually create and use (i.e., in Create an Entrance, Shane O's music and vid and ring entrance moves are all there, but god forbid you should actually be able to create the motherfucker in the C-A-W portion.) They (THQ) need to take this stuff out in the next game, or improve the C-A-W drastically.

I just remembered a pretty fun CAW story.
I used to have a friend that played the older SD games with me, like the 1st 2 Playstation ones, and the 1st one or two PS2 SDs.
Anyway, we'd always make pretty out there CAWs(around the time of the Attitude era, and we were about 13/14) I started making the above mentioned Nightmare and a few others. He made a few Bruce Lee style martial arts CAWs, a couple of monsters etc.
One thing to keep in mind, is that this guy literally only watched WWF at the Attitude era. He must have started watching around late 98, and stopped watching around mid 2001, maybe early 2002.
So I go over one day, and we put on the PS2. He starts hyping this new CAW he's made. The look, the build, the moves. But the thing he loved the most was the name he'd created.
So I chose my guy, and go to get a drink. By the time I come back, the loading screen is on for the match to start. My guy comes out, and I await his.
He's totally pumped for me to see this CAW.
"Ready? Here he comes..."
He comes out, looks like a roid maniac/martial arts guy, but overall not a bad effort.
The name tag comes up, as the moment comes that my friend has been waiting for...
I can't tell you how much fun it was to ruin his big moment by telling him that there already was a wrestler named The Ultimate Warrior.

I like to make slutty woman CAWs and make them real hot and give them dirty moves like the bronco buster or stink face and watch the do it to other girl wrestlers
I usually make Cody Rhodes. Though his name is always "Default "Default" Default", he only takes about a minute to create in any game.

Inade, Myself and a few of our friends always made ourselves in the game.
I remember, making myself, Inade making himself, our friend Peter making himself and Peters brother taking 7.5 hours to make himself
Anyways, I always had the same look, same finishers, etc.
I made a few caws in a few games taht were the same, in SvR I made a Caw a day for like 2 weeks, I made Sephiroth and Juggernaut, Mario and Luigi, a few other fun ones.
