-- In an interview with Michigan Live, Monty Brown (a.k.a. "Marcus Cor Von") said he is in negotiations for a return to World Wrestling Entertainment.

"I had to take some time away for a while on my own terms, but I kept a good rapport with the company and can come back at any time," Brown said. "I've got a lot going and I had a lot going (before leaving the WWE)."

Since his departure from WWE, Brown has pursued other avenues including the much anticipated launch of his own athletic clothing brand — Scripture Clothing.

The Pounce can be an awesome looking move. Other times it looks like shit. I guess it all depends on who's taking it. I want to see Big Show take it, but sell it HBK (against Hogan) style and jump over the top rope. The one on Sabu looked pretty sweet.

I watched it a few times again and I don't even think he sold it. He just stood there and like you said... took the move. I still don't like Sabu.

I think he is like the black Goldberg or the Black Rhino and how do we know that he is not just spitting bullshit. But I did enjoy the first Monsters Ball he was in.

He left TNA to be in WWE, he left WWE when his sister die to take care of her kids.

So basically a money thing? i know TNA pays shit think off all the Indy shows all there big name stars have to do. If I had to count every fair ground and High school gym I have seen Abyss wrestle in. TNA needs to start coming off that fucking money.

Sucks to hear about his sister though.

It's not only money, nobody in the bisness dream to be a star in TNA, they all dream to get a shot in WWE and get a chance to be compared to the best.

This is pretty cool news. Marcus Cor Von has always had something about him that makes him more than a sum of his parts. What I wouldn't give for the WWE to also re-hire Elijah Burke.

While I think both men are "above" the tag team division, Marcus Cor Von & Elijah Burke in a tag team scene that also involves John Morrison & The Miz, The Colos, Priceless and maybe DH Smith & Tyson Kidd would be fucking immense.

Monty Brown owns a personal trainer business and gym. He is very well off, as suggested in the first post with him launching his own clothing line. He moved on to WWE because of the terrible booking in TNA, and the obvious opportunity to work for the #1 company in the world.

Mr. Nerfect
04-04-2009, 12:47 AM
Yeah, TNA fumbled the ball pretty badly with Brown. Sure, they gave him his start and everything, but when they got him to the top, they always screwed him out of the belt, even though the fans were clamouring for him to win it. Then they decided to turn him heel, despite him being their most over face.

Lux
