Does anyone else watch this? How is it received in America?

Not sure it's too popular here in the UK, but I've downloaded every episode so far and am slowly working my way through it. I do think Barney is a great character.

I watch it and I enjoy it alot. Not the greatest comedy of all time, but I find it entertaining.

i am a huge fan of this show. didn't start watching until this year, but i got hooked. marathoned the first 3 seasons in like a week. good stuff. like wwe2222 said, not the greatest, but it's fun to watch. nph is solid, and colbie smulders is gorgeous.

I've seen some of the episodfes, and didn't mind it. If it gets repeated I will take the time to rewatch it.

Not my favourite, by one of them. Been watching it since it started.

NPH 4 Life.

My girlfriend loves it. I only really started watching this season. It has been pretty hit or miss, but when it's funny, it's really funny. I just feel that they try too hard at times.

I'm a bigger fan of the Big Bang Theory, but this comes on right after and is a very good show. 2 and a Half Men is usually good for a few laughs as well. Pretty solid night for CBS on Mondays.

I've caught a number of eps from the Big bang Theory and I didn't really like it at first, but it has gradually grown on me.

Been watching this since it started on BBC 2 about 3-4 years ago and after the first season, started downloading them when they were shown in America. Great show. Missed the last couple of eps though, gonna download 'em when I renew my Rapidshare account later

Pretty good show. I think this season has been slightly hurt by both female leads being pregnant and the need to constantly hide this fact.

I don't really care if there's another thread.

I just finished watching Season 4.

I do love this show. The guys on it are hilarious. Something about Jason Segel and NPH work so well together.

Anyways what do you guys think?

I find the fact that it bases around a mother that we won't meet to the last episode (seems like) annoying. It would be better if it was a regular character that we could guess at or something.

I like it, but I like the Big Bang Theory that comes on before it better. Both make for good television though. Perfect transition into Raw, so that at least something entertains me on Monday nights. :shifty:

It's funny, but I can't take Homo Doogie Howser as a playboy seriously.

Why not? You can't differentiate between a person and the character they play?

Well, there are couple people that I can't.

He was a child actor playing a genius surgeon kid for years and he is stuck in my mind as such.

Never saw Doogie Howser.

Anyways, I love this show as well. Only thing that gets me is that Bob Sagat is the voice of Ted from the future... why? He does a good job at it but... Ted is already an adult. Is his voice going to suddenly change someday down the line? Perhaps in the series finale he gets in an accident and has to be transplanted into the body of Bob Sagat, and that is how he meets his wife.

The hybride of Bob Saget and Sagat would be unstoppable.

Has anybody else been watching tons of How I Met Your Mother as of late? It just got put on full syndication on TV38 here in the Boston, Massachusetts television area.

I've been rewatching and remembering what I really love about this series. I've actually been more excited to watch these replay episodes than the weekly new episodes on Mondays.

Anybody else been doing the same, or using the new syndication to get into the series?
